Toilets and showers are wet rooms which in their selves are okay, but when it comes to cleaning we'll let's say it is almost non existent, most have limited toilet rolls, which are not even in the holders and the lucky few had hand soap.
After calling the golf club to enquire as to when they were likely to be clean as we had not seen anyone and we had been there for over a day, two young men did turn up.
They had a bottle of cleaning spray each, a cloth and used them to clean everything, same one for toilet and sink, no sign of a mop to clean the floors.
When I spoke to them, they informed me that they were so short staffed that they only get cleaned every other day, and one of them told me that as it was a cheap site the other sites were made a priority!!
I did enquire about the health and hygiene implications and they referred me to the manager at the golf course., Scott.
I called Scott who assured me that they were lying, and the facilities were cleaned daily, when I challenged this he said they were running late, well this was 3 hours late.
The next morning when I went to use the toilets I only found toilet rolls or what was left in them in three of them, the 'cleaners' had not topped anything up.

Really not good at all.

Not information with up to date details, it felt as though this place had been forgotten about

Such a shame as it could have been so different with simple changes

Gostou Very clean well kept site, toilets and showers spotless . Great location , good size pitch fully serviced . Exceptional pub on site great meals and not expensive . Excellent will definitely return

Gostou Good sized pitch with a hedge for extra privacy. Very quiet with good clean facilities. There was a bar and restaurant on site which is very handy. The grass and hedges were well maintained. We could not fault it and will definitely be back.

Não gostou If I was being picky, the only thing I would say is there is a lack of ventilation in the wet rooms. If someone had just had a shower it was very steamy and wet.

Gostou Toilets etc were spotless and the pitches were a good size. The pub was a bonus Sunday dinner was lovely

Gostou Good size pitch, quiet location, clean toilets and showers. Really easy to get on and off site with a barrier and an entry code. Not too busy

Não gostou Unfortunately pitch hadn't been checked before we arrived, lots of cigarette butts in the gravel which wasn't ideal for our little one who likes to pick things up.

Gostou Pitch was great and the site was well cared for by the gardeners.

Não gostou Nobody ever on site to help and shower rooms were never cleaned, despite complaining to the manager. We also had to keep asking for toilet rolls and soap to be available, as they were not replenished regularly.

Gostou Lovely quiet site. Wet rooms were good but got a bit steamed up.

Não gostou Nobody on reception and no answer when I rang the number given. Found out from another guest that we had to drive to the golf club down the road to check in.

Gostou Peaceful, quiet holiday, really enjoyed it nice place

Não gostou I advise to ring the golf club up two days before they go to get the barrier Pass number and plot number because I did have to wait outside for a while till I sorted it out because they don’t man the reception

Gostou Location was peaceful and out in the country. Black and grey waste disposal and rubbish area. Showers and toilets are wet rooms as well as disabled facilities.

Não gostou The restaurant/bar wasn’t open, when looking at the opening and closing times, the information said it should have been open and closed at 5pm daily.

We booked this site to use the restaurant and bar.
