Gostou Great site for kids, old school diy entertainment, amenites may take them out of their comfort zone but really make them appreciate home. Everything that modern camping has lost.
Picturesque secret garden site, adventures for kids, river swing, fire pits, swimming pool, surounded by nature reserves, nice walks & longer distance hikes through the gates, canals & swimming. Nice village, range of good pubs, food & groceries.
Bus stop ~100m, train ~1 mile. Easy & frequent links to Leichester, space centre, Luton airport.
Pick your own spot to pitch, compost tollet but clean & no smell, warm shower on a sunny day. Charge point for your devices.
Harry is a fantastic host, his site is very new so is still working things out.

Gostou We had such a lovely stay at Cossiwild Camping! I went with my mum and my 3-year-old son and it was perfect for all of us – peaceful, family-friendly, and really well looked after. My little one loved exploring and playing on the trampoline, tree swings, slide and in the open green area and we all left feeling relaxed. Highly recommend!

Gostou Easy to find down to the really helpful instructions by the owner Harry.
Quite small field which was pretty full on our first night, but lots of people went home by the next morning, then there was plenty of space. Fairly flat level pitches and well located next to the nature reserve and the small village of Cossington. Excellent pub with superb food a 5 minute walk away and the garden centre cafe was also good for cakes and coffee.
Not too far away from Sileby where there are take away restaurants and shops, including a Tesco express for anything you may have forgotten to pack!
We did have a lovely time as the weather was excellent and we had some good company. Having access to lots of wood was also a bonus as we love to have a campfire!
Unfortunately we didn't get round to having a dip in the pool but it was still nice to know it would've been available if we had wanted it. The garden was lovely and a really nice place to explore for both adults and children!

Não gostou The noise from the A46 was louder than I expected it to be but I had earplugs so it didn't disrupt my sleep.

Toilets were very basic composting toilets in tents. Maybe a better option would be to have some kind of more permanent wooden structure and also a LOT more composting material to put onto the top would be helpful.

Do gestor: Thank you for coming and glad to see that you explored the local area. The A46 is over a kilometre away but can be a low hum at busy times depending on the wind direction.
I take your point about the toilets and this year was an experimental first season. We have already moved and refreshed the toilets, and for the new season will have a new structure. Overall the feedback has been very positive which gives us confidence to invest in better facilities in 2026.

Gostou Lovely spot with loads of little hidden gems to keep the kids entertained.

Gostou It was very easy to find. Great instructions were sent when we booked. We weren't sure which areas we could go in so stuck to the main camp field and most of the woods. Found all the fun bits for the kids to play on. Loos were an adventure 😅😅 took me back to my Glastonbury days.

Data signal was fine... thank God.

Gostou Excellent location and friendly campers, host was very helpful
Loved the back to nature camping and the added touches of a pool and open space all around for walks, children to play.

Não gostou Toilet facilities weren’t the best, no where to wash/brush teeth etc

I take your point in the toilets which were basic for our first trial season. Next year they will be all new and much improved.

Gostou Beautiful little campsites surrounded by fields and trees. Perfect place to escape and relax. 5 minute walk to the village pub,they do very nice food. Only live 10 minutes away but felt like miles away. Staff very helpful. Will definitely be going back again

Gostou Parking was great! Kids loved the rope swing, trampoline, garden & horses in the nearby field. Nearby restaurants 5 min walk was really handy! Running water, shower & fire pits to hire were a bonus. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. Even got our kids airplane out the tree!

Não gostou Toilets! Dirty & small. If toilet block could be installed it would be perfect

We have a composting toilet, as stated on our description. Appreciate it's not the same as a permanent toilet block but it's simple not possible to build one here. Your point is taken nonetheless and we try to do the best with what we have.
Please come again, but note disposable barbecues are not allowed as they burn the grass. Expensive too, about £5, and for the same cost you can hire our fire pit and grill tray with as much wood as you like.
