Malvern Hills View Glamping

Take a stroll through the elegant Victorian streets of Malvern (20 minutes’ drive), stopping at leafy Priory Park, with a playground by a lake and the Malvern Splash Leisure Complex, if the kids are clamouring for some pool time. The Malvern Museum explores the history of the town as a thermal centre. Hereford (half an hour) has a large pedestrianised town centre spreading around an imposing cathedral that’s home to the Mappa Mundi, a 13th-century map of the world depicting known and fantastic animals, as well as Biblical and mythological events. The Museum of Cider illustrates the various stages of this locally made drink. On the banks of the Severn, Worcester Cathedral (half an hour) has vertiginous Gothic vaults and a 14th-century tower from where you can see as far as the Malvern Hills.
