Gostou Beautiful site. Lovely, clean hot showers and toilets. Only stayed one night but would love to come back and enjoy the forest.

Não gostou Shop - no red wine

Gostou Location was good for visiting the area.

Não gostou On two mornings toilets were out of action but fixed fairly quickly. Huge space and if I’d known I’d have opted for a non electric pitch to have more space. It was also quite expensive for what it was. Marketing shows Holkham Hall but you’re a 10 minute walk away.

Gostou Superb adults only campsite. Really warm welcome, perfectly clean, tidy facilities. Exceptionally clean bathrooms and showers. Only a 10 min walk to Cheddar. Nice paths for walking the dog.

Gostou Cracking campsite. Huge pitches and level too. Lovely pool. Beautiful hot showers. Exceptionally friendly hosts, genuinely lovely people. Best baguette and pain au chocolate we had all week. Great stop over site.

Não gostou No toilet paper but not a major deal.

Gostou Superb location, right on the lake. Spacious pitches and good showers and toilets. Nice circular walk around the lake that’s easy and a dip in the lake was refreshing.

Não gostou The restaurant. We asked for a piece of local cake to takeaway and he charged us 50 cents for a flimsy plastic container. He wasn’t too happy either.

Gostou Absolutely loved this campsite. Although smallish it has everything you need. Clean toilets and showers, lovely little shop and a great bar which serves food. The staff were so helpful in organising a rafting trip and generally so nice. Location is perfect for Soca River activities and the village is only a 10 min walk. We had a pitch next to the river which was shaded by trees.

Gostou The view was amazing and the campsite quiet and peaceful. Hot showers. The pool was nice and refreshing and a welcomed cool down at the end of the day.!

Não gostou Shower facilities down in the site, a little basic and no toilet roll but not a big problem.

Gostou Location and shop full of local produce. Showers were modern and extremely clean.

Não gostou We booked within 24 hours and the site was busy on arrival. We were initially offered a pitch next to busy road and then it was suggest we could park on soil, unkept area. Eventually we perched on the edge of another pitch and it was fine for us and fortunately the other couple were ok with this.

Gostou I can see why this site gets such high ratings, it's perfect. Hugely spacious pitches, which are all very private. Beautiful setting and great facilities and a really nice feel. Probably the best of all our bookings, love how different it was. Great for children and adults too.

Gostou The location is perfect for the black forest and a good base for a few days. The staff are helpful and they have a well stocked shop, including ice cream which was needed in the heat.

Não gostou Its a busy site and we were right near the kids play area which was a little noisy at times, late into the evening. Toilets and shower areas could be cleaner but it was fine. You have to pay to use the pool at 3 Euros per person, but they offer a weekly ticket of 25 Euros if staying longer.

Gostou The situation on the river is superb. The pitches are spacious and we were right on the banks of the river, with excellent views. It was exceptionally busy but we didn't feel over crowded. Felt more rustic and more wild camping and was a nice change from bigger sites. Beautiful setting.

Não gostou Only two toilets and you have to take your own toilet roll. It was fine, just took some organising.

Do gerente: Hello , We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the lack of toilet paper in our sanitary blocks. We still have 2 toilet blocks with several toilets and showers per block but it is true that when the campsite is full it doesn't seem like much. We are still delighted that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again next year and we will try to take note of your comments. Sincerely, the camping team.

Gostou Only stayed one night but was perfect for what we needed. Nice bar area and staff were very helpful even though we arrived late. Lake isn't really swimmable unless you like green water.

Não gostou Having a key for toilet facilities.
