When a business has been running for well over 50 years, you’d imagine they’d know a thing or two about how to keep customers happy. So it is with award-winning Well Park, which has been welcoming guests since 1960 – and with a loyal crowd of visitors returning year after year, they're clearly doing something right. So what’s the secret? There's the setting for starters, a peaceful rural site around half an hour’s walk from the seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot. Then there's the fact that it’s only a 15-minute walk to a quiet little cove… and that the site amenities are spotless… and well-kept gardens with rockeries, manicured lawns and an ornamental fish pond are at guests' disposal on site… A playground and sandpit have been installed too to keep smaller visitors amused. Two pubs are a few minutes’ walk away, and plenty of restaurants are in Saundersfoot and Tenby. If you need to pick up eats and drinks for back on site, there are supermarkets in both towns and a mini market a five-minute walk from the park. An overflow field is used for tents at busy times.

Gostou It was quite and clean

Não gostou There was only 1 toilet block at the beginning of the site and which is a bust of a long way for those staying on Site C especially if you haven’t got your own toilets and it’s in the middle of the night in the dark .

Gostou The gentleman at reception was friendly and the grounds looked nice

Não gostou Booked a grass pitch for our camper no designated spot just sent to an area we could park. Went out to explore and do some shopping and someone else had parked in our spot so had to find another spot. Showers and toilets were dark and dated and in my opinion not very clean. Also signal blockers for wifi so the only option if you need it is to pay £5 a day

Gostou Love this site. Second time here after a festival to chill out. Well maintained site with shower facilities and toilets. Water and Chemical toilet facilities for motorhome/ van owners. Tenby and Saundersfoot 2 miles away each way. We walked into Tenby and got an open top bus (just outside the site) to Saundersfoot. We will return next year

Gostou Great location Tenby one side Saundersfoot the other . Friendly welcome . Able to pick from lots of pitches within 3 parts of the site. Great warm showers . Always clean . 3 sink indoor pot wash and Great laundry room . Would highly recommend. Paid extra for wifi which was brilliant for watching films ect

Não gostou A little bit over priced at £28 a night nonelectric but it was peak July holidays and 1.5 mile from tenby so Great location

Gostou Felt welcome, my boys enjoyed playing on the field while we were at the tent. Showers were lovely and warm.
Didnt have phone signal but must say was nice to not been on technology all the time.

Gostou Lovely camping trip in Tenby with the dogs! We took our campervan to Well Park in July and had the most peaceful stay, accommodated by lovely weather! A lovely gentleman checked us in at reception. We were in the overflow field which was much better as you’re not on top on each other and had lovely countryside views! A well labelled recycling area (however I wish visitors learnt how to distribute their plastics/cardboard and general rubbish as it’s not fair for the site to have to sort out). We drove out every day as Tenby a little too far to walk. Overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend this campsite 😊

Não gostou Showers and toilets a little outdated but did the job! Showers were always warm. Costs 20p to use hairdryers and only takes cash which not everyone has on them these days.

Gostou Location and quietness of park. Park is clean and tidy. Facilities are good. Bus route across the road in new hedges to take into tenby of saundersfoot.

Não gostou None electric camping ground hilly was another field and if mowed would have web more level.

Atrações locais

Sometimes it feels like you can barely move in this part of Wales without stumbling upon a castle – good news for history buffs or kids imagining themselves as knights. Within 20 minutes’ drive of the park you can hear ghost stories at Carew Castle, gaze out over the sea from one of the towers at Manorbier or run around the Great Map of Wales (said to be Britain’s largest artwork) at Pembroke. Another thing that’s not in short supply round these parts is beaches: a 15-minute walk down a quiet path takes you to Waterwynch Bay, a hidden cove that’s off the radar for many visitors to the area. An hour’s walk away (along the splendid Pembrokeshire Coast Path) is sandy Monkstone beach, and a little further away but oh so worth the half-hour drive is gorgeous Barafundle Bay, a frequent entrant on global best beaches lists (and rightly so). For family-friendly attractions, Folly Farm is 15 minutes’ drive away, and Manor Wildlife Park or the Dinosaur Park Tenby are both about five minutes away.
