Gostou: Nice site with friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately didn't get chance to see the alpacas but we had a good time would highly recommend this site

Gostou: The campsite was beautiful, everything was nice and clean and the pitches were neat and tidy. The picnic bench with the hard standing pitch was a lovely added touch.
Friendly staff and very helpful with our queries.

Não gostou: The only thing I could possibly mention was the shower. It was very responsive to anything else happening with water in the unit which obviously was a lot on a Saturday, so the shower was frequently going cold or losing all of it’s pressure.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the showers, The issue you encountered with fluctuating water temperature and pressure, especially during peak times, is a common challenge in shared facilities. This typically occurs when multiple water fixtures are in use simultaneously, leading to pressure imbalances.


We are trying to address this, we are considering the installation of pressure-balanced valves in our shower units. These valves automatically adjust to maintain a consistent water temperature, thereby enhancing comfort and safety for all users.

Gostou: We stayed from Friday 16th to Sunday 17th we had the best experience and will be booking again for end of may. The owners are absolutely lovely and very welcoming. We couldn't start car and right away owner came to save the day with no obligation. Thank you for a fab weekend.

Gostou: The site was clean, quiet and friendly.

Não gostou: Only thing I will mention is the bench in the ladies shower area is loose so it feels like it’s going to break when you sit which is not a fun feeling.

Gostou: Really quiet and well maintained with Clean toiletries, washing area.Recycling and waste area is tidy. Showers are free with hot water. Everything you need is within a 15 minute drive from the campsite e.g fuel, food and shops

Não gostou: Not really a dislike however the toilet areas are small with 1 shower in each bathroom so when the site is busy in summer there will be long ques and the shower water pressure fluctuates however not enough to warrant any complaints

We're pleased to let you know that we're planning improvements to the shower and toilet block later this year. The updated facilities will be more spacious and will include two showers in each block, helping to make things even more comfortable for our guests.

Gostou: The toilet and shower block nice and clean, place to wash your dishes with freezer.
The animals, big pitches, charlie site manager was friendly and polite.

Não gostou: Only 1 shower, very muddy site. When we got there the signage wasn't clear on pitches. Had to phone site manager nd he said to park on a clear hardstanding. The email wasn't clear could have said pitch number etc and then signage at the pitch.

We apologise for the issues you encountered with the signage we are in the middle of having new signs made. unfortunatley the grass was slightly muddy in places as we closed for the whole of January to re do all the electrics on site. Your comments are invaluable as we strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
