Gostou: An absolute hidden gem, the most wonderful location, super peaceful, and a spacious campsite meaning you're not hemmed in next to other campers - there's also a few spots where you can hide away to have a nice private camping spot.
The showers were really unexpected, some clever upcycling of old IBC's, we weren't expecting such great water pressure and to have them so warm, very luxurious!

This might be our favorite campsite ever!

Im so confused by your rating as the site is immaculate, wild and rustic. We have just had two fully booked weekends, with happy lovely campers. Gostou: Lovely campsite. Nina and Bob did everything the could to make sure we had the best stay - including advising where things are, walks with the kids and lending us a piece we were missing for our gas stove! We are so grateful and all of these things did make the difference for us. Don’t come if you’re put off by basic, we weren’t.

Não gostou: I think compost toilets are a great idea, but just not so keen on the three in a row aspect. However, won’t stop us returning!

Gostou: beautiful view from the campsite, perfect location for beaches and bays either by car or foot, lovely hot showers. Driving to the mainland was really easy as the roads are really good so had days out in Caenarfon and Bangor as well as places on Anglesey itself. Really peaceful stay. Recommend the Bay View Restaurant for food as very affordable, friendly and more great views. Campsite was really friendly feeling and we all had lots of space. Pack warm though - had a few chilly evenings from the sea wind!
Would definitely book again x

Gostou: Really loved it here , so peaceful and beautiful. You can park or pitch where you want. Yes it is basic but that adds to the charm I think. Definitely be back .

Gostou: Absolutely loved our stay, beautiful views even had a sea view in the corner we camped in and great sunsets in the evenings!
Not too far from beaches or local pubs! Also not far from Holyhead!

the toilets are compost and they were brilliant always topped with loo roll and sawdust!
The showers were absolutely brilliant, always nice and hot and with there being 4 always a free one available when wanted a shower, never had to que!

Had fire pits can hire for £5 a night!
Can park car right next to where camping and plenty of space and choice where to pitch up!
Even had signal where we pitched up very good!
Dog friendly, lots of lovely walks near!
Water taps available
One sink available to do watching up!

For price and location was lovely

Não gostou: Just bear in mind it is higher up therefore its quite windy so just be aware of that expect a bit of wind!

Also had 6 toilets there but only 4 available to use. 2 of the toilet we’re screwed shut so only 4 toilets for a full campsite could do with the other two to be in use!

No sink at top toilets could do with one to wash hands at the top toilets!

The middle two toilets are storage for wood chip and toilet rolls so closed, but increased capacity with a redesign of the 2 in use in each block. We also have 6 new toilets being made atm that will be in use from July, and wash basin for each toilet block too. Great minds think alike hey! Não gostou: A sign said "reception" was managed 6-8pm I think but we didn't see anyone - not a dislike as such but for security and reassurance would have been good to see someone there at some point
