Ik was blij met Back to basics, value for money campsite. Very quiet, lots of space. Can’t comment on showers - as only there for one night and didn’t use them. Well kept grounds.

Ik was blij met This was the perfect campsite for getting some friends together to celebrate our birthdays this year
Amazing peaceful location, fridge and electrics on site, clean composting loos, big tables and benches for communal sitting, plenty of space, beach is 20 min walk, shared fire pit, sheltered spots away from the wind, affordable camping!

Ik was niet blij met Only thing was no recycling or bins on site, but I understand this is part of how the campsite can operate at only £20 a night per tent!!

Ik was blij met A lovely site with lots of space, clean facilities and walking access to the (rocky/sandy) beach. My daughter and I loved it

Ik was blij met We love this site as it's never overcrowded. The woodland area is lovely for the kids. The facilities are well kept. Views are fab and the team are all absolutely lovely.

Ik was blij met Beautiful well kept site , lots of space and walks to the beach
Also a lovely walled garden serving coffee and cake

Ik was niet blij met We visited this site last year and the compost toilets where kept clean with buckets of wood shavings in each toilet
This year we found them quite smelly and grubby with just 1 bucket of shavings out left outside so I don’t think most people bothered to put them down, leaving the toilets smelly and unsightly

We had a lot of trouble this year with people throwing the entire buckets of woodchip down the toilets, sometimes multiple times per day, not only a waste of resources but also causing the toilets to fill up super fast. We will bring back the bucket system though, we just need to work out how to better implement it! Thank you for the feedback.

Ik was niet blij met Very small comment, perhaps toilets could be nicer but it is an eco friendly site
If you want amenities, perhaps a negative is not much in the local area BUT this is stated is booking descirption

Ik was blij met We absolutely loved this site! It was so chilled and exactly what we wanted. The communal fridge freezer was a great bonus and somewhere to charge the phones was also great. Deffo coming back! Thank you so much xxx

Ik was blij met We loved the layout and location of the campsite, not too far to walk to beautiful Church Bay.
The compostable toilets and showers were well maintained and accessible.

Ik was niet blij met We were disappointed that the little newly opened cafe had no vegan option, particularly given this is a sustainable campsite. However I appreciate that the cafe has just got going, so perhaps this is something that can be adapted easily enough.
