Y Glyn Fields

Gostou Good size area to choose a pitch, flat enough to pitch a tent easily and there are walls/fences with trees to block off some of the wind. Location is good, close to useful roads but tucked away and relatively secluded. As long as you know there is no shower or running water before you book (and you should, because they do inform you) you'll be fine. The portaloos were well maintained. If you're driving with the site on your left, the ramp entrance is just opposite the Castle Fitness entrance. Very happy with our night here, especially for the price. If I were to ever be in the area, I would definitely stay again.

Gostou Nice quiet site. Spacious and plenty of room between tents. The view over Conway bay is spectacular. The situation is very convenient for Conwy and there are not many campsites in the area that take tents so that was a big bonus. There was very little noise in the night apart from sheep making odd coughing noises. I presumed this was because it was so dry and they couldn’t swallow easily. It was altogether nice to be near to animals and nature.

Não gostou I was told that there were no showers before I booked …I was fine with that and brought a solar shower..but after I had booked and paid I was told by text message that there was no water on site at all. We were told to bring our own water. This could have been on the initial booking form so we could make an informed choice. That was the only downside.

Gostou A great base for North Wales
We’ve found the ideal back-to-basics campsite in Wales! Y Glyn Fields is a no-frills site, but it’s a perfect base for exploring North Wales.
The site was clean and tidy, and the portaloos were very clean and well maintained. It’s simple, peaceful and has everything you need for a great camping trip.
We’d definitely stay here again! 🏕️⛰️

Não gostou Didn’t dislike anything really other then going to the port-a loos at nitetime as not enough light lol 😜 and bugs ewe haha only joking loved everything

Gostou Beautiful scenery around, easy access to walking trails, nearest shop in 5-6 minutes drive , porta loo are clean , would be great if another couple of toilets at the bottom of ground

Gostou Beautiful views on the site, it's a shame there's no water on site but we were prepared so no issue.

Não gostou Could benefit from a couple more loos, as one night each was pretty dirty
