Gostou Easily accessible, safe, clean facilities and calm, friendly staff.
Able to rent camp-fires abd close to local amenities as well as great on-site café.

Equally, it's not everyday tgat you get to see a member of staff save someone's life then nonchalantly carry on with their safety briefing..... well done!

The adventure staff clearly know what they're doing and make sure everyone is enjoying their day.

Não gostou Slightly overlooked by some retirement bungalows but nobody was nosy and it didn't detract from the stay.

Gostou Loved the location of the site, right next to the river. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The little cafe was well stocked and we enjoyed a drink outside on the grass. The grounds were clean and well maintained.

Gostou Quiet, clean facilities, friendly staff, close to the river, quality food from on site shop, relaxed experience. Perfect!

Não gostou dirty blocked toilets,staff new and didn’t know about layout of site or where too park and music being played until 3am from inconsiderate campers ,ruined our night away

Do gerente: I'm really sorry to hear about your experience and sad that we are only learning about this via a review and not because you came into the cafe / reception to tell us anything during your stay. If you had notified us at the time we could have done something about every point you have mentioned. We would like to think that we are very approachable and would always deal with any situation to the best of our ability in the shortest time possible. Once again, sorry we didn't meet your expectations and thank you for taking the time to write a review and help us improve our service.

Gostou The staff are very helpful and friendly. I like the choices of fields available. The main showers and toilets are kept very clean. It is next to the river.

Não gostou In the main shower block there are two showers for women. Only one of them worked during my stay.

Gostou Review: 8/10 – River Wye Campsite

I had a fantastic stay at River Wye Campsite! The staff were absolutely brilliant – friendly, approachable, and went above and beyond, especially when it came to helping me store medication that needed to be kept chilled. The coffee on site was a lovely bonus – genuinely some of the nicest I’ve had at a campsite.

The location is perfect for families, couples, and even dogs. There’s a beautiful riverside walk right from the site, and plenty of well-thought-out activities to keep children and adults entertained alike.

Não gostou The only thing that stops this from being a 10/10 is the washroom facilities – they’re functional but would really benefit from a modern update to match the quality of the rest of the site.
