Gostou Wat a fantastic spot. The hot shower was very welcome and the rest of the facilities are to a high standard too.

We found it a very quiet location to stay at.

Gostou Good central base for town centre.

Surrounding scenery spectacular.

Não gostou You’re parked up in a large gravel pit.

The park itself beared no resemblance in reality to the picture posted on the online website.

Overpriced for the amenities on site.

Was found to be scruffy and look unfinished.

There is no WiFi access on the site which didn’t bother as we have a
Vodafone gigacube.

However your in a gully surrounded by mountains therefore no reception at all we only had one bar 3G on our iPhone & it was a hit or miss.

Sadly had issues with the electricity power point. We never had any other appliances on other than a blow heater an oil fuels radiator, went to put kettle on an it all blew! Lost track how many times it tripped to the point we had to call the park warden. The chap was very friendly and responsive. Was intimated to us that it may have been the blower. On checking it was only 220v ??? We explained that we are ardent travellers and have never had troubles,it was the norm for us to have a few appliances on in the caravan. Don’t know how or why but the electrics did go back on thankfully !

We found the Toilet block unhygienic.

Male & Female share the same block.

For the size of the site this is the only toilet block. 3 showers,3 Loos.

On showering the water pressure is temperamental and fluctuates between freezing to luke warm.

The cubicle we used was littered with dirty hand towels. Paper towels being used as toilet paper. Pubic hair on loo seats an hand basin.

Shower cubicle was a combo of black and green mould. All the dirt & hair laying on the cubicle floor from previous users.

Gostou In walking distance of fort Augustus and lochness and the Caledonian canal.
Friendly greeting from staff

Gostou Closeness and quality (veneering and flooring and lights and hand soap) of toilet facilities
Temp indicator on washing up facilities
Pegs to hang personal clothes and effects

No lights above washing up sink, temps indicated on washing up tap inaccurate
Only one general bathing unit which was used in the morning before 10 am departure (toilet with sink with shower)
Drainage on shower. Showering with previous users shower residue
Nothing to squidgee away previous moisture

Gostou The pitch is a good size, peaceful with the gentle burble of a hidden stream in the back ground. Showers are hot and generally with good pressure. Toilets are clean and well appointed.

Não gostou The space in most showers is very restricted with no space for shoes

Gostou Short walk to the canal and lochside walks. Places to eat and drink were a short walk

Não gostou Very basic site. No nighttime lighting, pitch black. Toilets are unisex and showers pretty basic but clean. Like a weekend pop us site facilities.

Gostou Grand spot, easy to find and very accessible for the canal and shops and Lough Ness
Arrived after 5 sp was self check in.
Found the fresh water but didn't see black or grey waste.
Showers etc look modern and clean, look modular which is good.

Não gostou I know it was Sunday evening, but overflowing bins is a bad look whatever way you look at it.
I know it's caused by selfish campers, but it's your site.
It was all sorted by check out on Wednesday

Gostou Pitch sze

Não gostou Toilets, showers, no lighting on site anywhere once you left the main building site. Walked back to our pitch in complete darkness. Would not return unfortunately

Não gostou Site lacked any sense of completeness. Boggy hard standing, bins overflowing with waste. No lighting on site.
