Gostou Grounds clean and well maintained

Não gostou Disabled toilet/showers disgraceful. Toilet unusable as top of cistern missing so unable to flush. Seat missing from shower unable to use shower. whole area dirty. Baby changing facility used as storage not useable. Informed owner about the disabled area not really interested his solution was to give it a so called clean. It was still dirty after.

The club/restaurant was damaged by fire several years ago this has just been pulled down. If you need to eat find a pub nearby

Do gerente: Good Morning Thank you Emma for the feed back. When you arrived I asked you to read the rules and regulations before entering our site and you agreed to them. Once you arrived onto your plot you starting erecting a gazebo. I asked you kindly to remove it as we don't allow them onsite which you got very upset about and asked me to give you a solution. I explained to you that we don't offer solutions to you when you bring a gazebo to the park then not being allowed to erect it. at this point to decided to become rude and i said we don't tolerate customers who become argumentative as we operate a zero tolerance policy to aggressive people to staff because you couldn't get your own way. Our rules and regulations are in place to make our site safe for everyone and for you to enjoy your stay so being petty and rating us one star because you didn't like these rules is ridiculous.

Gostou Just came back from a lovely weekend. Love the location, staff really friendly and helpful,. Bar was good fun and also did pizza. Pitches great size and well laid out. Toilets and showers good and I dispute previous comments as I saw them being cleaned several times a day and always found them clean and tidy. Close to local village and beaches. Will definitely be back soon again. Great price and value for money

Não gostou The only downside was patchy WiFi but just hot spotted from phone so not a major issue.

Gostou Facilities, destination. The fact that this is up and coming due to a management team being bought in. Will, im sure turn this holiday park around.

Não gostou The Toilets were a kids hang out. All kids going in male and female toilets. Lack of security presence.

Gostou Location was good. Pitch was a good size

Não gostou Site was not well maintained. The bins were overflowing. When raised with reception we were told they were in dispute with the waste removal company. More bins were obviously needed. The one in the dishwash area not emptied for 3 days. Bathrooms were also unclean, excuse by reception was that some guests were just disgusting. Site has no warden nor information on who to contact in an emergency. We suffered a foul mouthed neighbour and ended up dealing with it ourselves. Apparently they are trying to get a warden. We got so fed up we left 2 days early

Gostou That it had clubhouse and shop on site.

Não gostou But the shop didn't have hardly any food in it.
The toilets and shower block were dirty and never cleaned hardly. No toilet paper or soap either.
The rubbish bins were disgusting, when we arrived it looked like they haven't been emptied for well over a week. So the rubbish was piled up high

Gostou The campsite itself was lovely (as in the gorunds) and staff were fantastic!

Não gostou Camping/tourer toilet blocks were disgusting. Never any toilet roll in any cubicles, cleaner in there once in the mornings (which once cleaned were ok) but after that, vile, which is mainly down the guests but they definitely needed to be cleaned more than once a day.
Showers were absolutely freezing and only lasted for 10 seconds.

We arrived on Saturday to see all the bins outside completely overflown and piles of bags on the floor but they were emptied twice when we were there (we were there a week)

Gostou Ideal location for the 7 Bays

Não gostou We stayed here a few years ago, we were happy with the site and facilities. We returned this year expecting the same standard, unfortunately it has gone down hill. We arrived to discover the bar/ restaurant was no longer there. It looks as though they are going to be doing something in its place as it is currently just mud with a digger on it. There is a small bar area near the entrance / exit barrier and I think they do some sort of food. We didn’t go in and try it so I can’t comment on that. No mention of this when booking. Across the road is a building development site. Again no mention of this when booking. 7am wake up call each morning from the diggers!!
The shower / toilet facilities are very much below standard. No evidence of them being cleaned regularly. I would expect a morning and evening cleaning routine for the size of the site. It wasn’t until the last day that we noticed a difference and there was someone cleaning which of course made a difference. I only used the showers twice during our weeks stay. I instead used our shower in our caravan.
There are two bin stores on the site. They were beyond over flowing, as there was no room in the bin, rubbish was building up around the bins. Which of course attracted birds so rubbish was being pulled around the site. It wasn’t until the third day that they were emptied. They soon became full again as the rubbish was put in from the floor. Thankfully they were emptied again a few days later.
The site could benefit from having a warden. As there was also some vandalism in the women’s toilets - hand soaps pulled off the wall.
It’s a great shame as it is in a great spot for visiting the different bays.
The site needs attention and care.
