Gostou Another lovely stay! Beautiful location and defiantly one of our faves! Friendly site owners, toilets and shower nice and clean and always well stocked.

Não gostou - WiFi was a bit hit and miss the further away you are from the building but phone signal was fine so not too much of a dislike!
- no hot water for the washing up area and not under a cover which means you get wet when it rains!
- £1 to use the shower for 10 minutes. Doesn’t feel long enough but if you don’t mind a quick shower it’s no problem!

Gostou Lovely small campsite with everything needed. Owner is lovely and friendly and the people who live and work there go above and beyond. We extended our stay as we enjoyed it so much. Our 7 and 9 year old have enjoyed their stay too as theres some lovely walks and plenty of animals to see. Wifi is an added bonus too.

Não gostou If travelling there in a caravan make sure you plan the route to the site. Road is challenging. Early morning or late evening when roads are quite would be favourable

Gostou Best part is you get wifi at your pitch.
Highly pocket friendly
Host was extremely helpful and polite
Grass was cut
Land was levelled
Shower is good can be used for 1£ for 10 min
There is a washing machine at the shower can be used for 3£
Dog friendly site
Cannot hear any noise of vehicle as it is secluded from the road

Não gostou 1. Toilet was a nightmare. There was one toilet block and shower at reception which was good but, they repeatedly told me that there is one toilet block near the tent, i tried going at it many times, but it was filled with cob webs and at night it would become home of uncountable full sized snails and slugs , on the walls, on the toilet seat on the floor , at the door handle. Toilet definitely needs to be taken care of by the host.

2. The location is close from the main road but on a extremely narrow lane for just 1 vehicle with twists & turns so you have to be careful. We faced a tractor on the way and had to drive reverse a long way to find a passing place

3. There is no proper place to brush your teeth or hot water at wash area. There is sink in the toilet block but unclean toilets carry smell and germs so cant be used for brushing. Only one place outside the toilet block to wash utensils but it didn't have any hot water and was under open sky so you have to wait for the rain to go away.

Hot water for indoor shower is nice, room could do with an update I honestly think that £1 for 10 minutes shower is very generous

Outside toilet needs updating
Washing area needs hot water and a plug
Could do with being under cover

Could do with hedges to protect from the wind for tents, we had our windbreakers up but it was still windy

Roads there are exceptionally tight not suited to towing a caravan but tents, motorhomes, campers would be fine.

Gostou Really easy to find and close to the motorway. We arrived late at night as we decided to travel missing the bank holiday traffic.
The field was so flat so no need to adjust the van before we went to sleep.
Bathroom clean and we woke up to such peaceful surroundings.
Really recommend as a stop off sight if heading south.
