St Ives Bay Holiday Park

Gostou: Everything was amazing! Starting from the reception staff. We did not have to wait to check in. They were all pro active. All documents and info was ready when we arrived. It literally took us two minutes to check in. Gave us clear instructions were to find our pitch. Facilities were a minute walk, also very clean. Cleaning team was coming several times during the day. No rubbish laying around or near the bins. Amazing views from the pitch area looking over sea, so you wake up to beautiful sunrise. And finally the beach is like 6 minutes walk from pitch area. Our stay was wonderful.

Gostou: My partner & I booked this pitch very last minute and we picked it because of it's proximity to the beautiful private beach. Luckily, we got there during a non-busy period, so we were able to pick our pitch and spread out a little bit more. However, I can imagine during busy periods the site could feel small as there isn't much space between the pitches.

The facilities were clean and easily accessible. The Sands Bar has a great terrace with a lovely view over the whole beach. It's very beautiful at sunset! The bar itself is well stocked and clean. Overall we were really happy with the campsite.

Não gostou: The shop on site closes at 4pm everyday, which just seems a bit too early.
The majority of the onsite entertainment is bingo, a bit more variety would be nice.
The swimming pool closes at 4pm, which feels really early. A 6pm finish would be better

Gostou: Loved it. The site was very clean, excellent on site facilities including shop, bar, restaurant ect. Easy access to beach. Showers were ok too, nice and warm. Staff were friendly.

Gostou: Clean and well kept pitch. Great dune and sea view.
Toilets and showers clean and well stocked.
Sands bar and restaurant, food and drinks were good. Staff friendly

Gostou: Location near massive beach (walk through the dunes) dog heaven! coastal path access, sunsets and coastal views , friendly staff, organisation well managed, nearby bus route, variety of basic food and bar on site, swimming pool indoor available, shop with necessities

Não gostou: Water tap for drinking water not compatible with hose for filling water tank so only way is to use something to fill the tank or if you have water roller and no grey waste area so found a grate for ground water eventually) shower blocks are basic clean but pretty fresh as doors always open ( showers are hot but usual push taps) the is a newer shower block further up site which is hilly but also freezing but it was low season May, internet signal poor at camp site WiFi available in sands bar good

Não gostou: Booked and paid for an electric pitch , two days before had an email saying no electric pitch available, very annoying, luckily we have solar panels and it lasted just long enough , but felt extremely let down as couldn’t use all our items,
Pitches are extremely close together too, not a lot of room to move

Gostou: Beautiful view and so close to the stunning beach, bus outside site and breathtaking sunsets.

Não gostou: Could be better signposted for reception.
Clean but dated toilet and showers.
