Many folk who come to Cornwall seek a base for its north and south. And secluded is often an option too, given how popular the place is in the summer months. Add both those wants to splendid surroundings, a view over a grand valley, and the peace of the Cornish countryside… and you get Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site. The owners rightfully point out that this is a very pretty part of Cornwall – and the site's rightly pretty too, set over two scenic acres with a nature walk down its valley, through Bluebell Wood and to a stream at the valley's bottom. Firepits are available near the pitching field and in the woods. There are also showers, toilets and a washing-up area. It's only two and a half miles from here to both Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens, three miles from the nearest beach, and within easy day trip distance of most towns, resorts and attractions on the north and south Cornish coasts. A farm shop two miles away from Menallack Farm stocks a good range of local fruit and veg, free-range meat and poultry, bread, Cornish milk, butter and cream, homemade pasties, pies, cakes and quite a bit more. Beyond that, Falmouth is four miles away for supermarkets and the like.

Gostou This is a small family run site. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We were on pitch 28 on the top field and had Wonderful views of the country side we stayed for 5 nights.

In the bottom field there is a little set up for children and families with badminton, football goals rope swing and air hockey which we felt was a nice touch.

The showers were hot and had good pressure which were very welcomed after a day of hiking.

Nice hut with washing up area, fridge freezer, kettle,toaster,washing machine.

We would definitely stay here again 😁

Não gostou Everything. No meet and greet. Phoned to be told our pitch number was on board at enterence. Sadly this one was for previous day. Site owner confirmed pitch number.

Gostou A lovely friendly peaceful site.
Level pitches with good views & walks.
Good price.

All the basics covered, toilets, showers & kitchen area which includes fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster & kettle.
Also a washing machine :)
Fire pit hire with logs if wanted too.

Would recommend for a quiet relaxing stay.

Only minor issue would be for larger vehicles, as roads leading here are narrow and winding, but there are plenty of passing places & this is the Cornwall countryside.

Gostou The owners were really friendly and the pitches were large and level. There was a nice indoor washing up area with books and items of interest.
Showers were hot.

Não gostou Some of the facilities were a bit dated and didn’t appear to be cleaned daily

Gostou Beautiful, peaceful spot with wonderful views over the valley. Short drive into Falmouth (could cycle). Also a short drive to Maenporth Beach (favourite).

Good on-site facilities in communal kitchen.

Friendly, and helpful staff.

Shower and toilet block all good. Plenty of available water, and electric points.

Instead, continue on the main road past Argle Lake up to the crossroads and turn right, this road will then lead you to the clear entrance of Menallack Farm on your left-hand side. Fishing is available in the Argal Reservoir a mile and a half away, and local sailing on the nearby Helford River.
