Many folk who come to Cornwall seek a base for its north and south. And secluded is often an option too, given how popular the place is in the summer months. Add both those wants to splendid surroundings, a view over a grand valley, and the peace of the Cornish countryside… and you get Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site. The owners rightfully point out that this is a very pretty part of Cornwall – and the site's rightly pretty too, set over two scenic acres with a nature walk down its valley, through Bluebell Wood and to a stream at the valley's bottom. Firepits are available near the pitching field and in the woods. There are also showers, toilets and a washing-up area. It's only two and a half miles from here to both Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens, three miles from the nearest beach, and within easy day trip distance of most towns, resorts and attractions on the north and south Cornish coasts. A farm shop two miles away from Menallack Farm stocks a good range of local fruit and veg, free-range meat and poultry, bread, Cornish milk, butter and cream, homemade pasties, pies, cakes and quite a bit more. Beyond that, Falmouth is four miles away for supermarkets and the like.

  • A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
  • Minimum spacing of 2 metres between pitches.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.

A quiet, rural spot with lovely valley views, perfect for exploring. Guests loved the friendly owners, clean facilities, and well-kept pitches, especially the communal kitchen and great showers. A few found facilities a bit dated and phone signal weak, but most felt it was great value and would come back.

Liked This is a small family run site. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We were on pitch 28 on the top field and had Wonderful views of the country side we stayed for 5 nights.

In the bottom field there is a little set up for children and families with badminton, football goals rope swing and air hockey which we felt was a nice touch.

The showers were hot and had good pressure which were very welcomed after a day of hiking.

Nice hut with washing up area, fridge freezer, kettle,toaster,washing machine.

We would definitely stay here again 😁

Liked A lovely friendly peaceful site.
Level pitches with good views & walks.
Good price.

All the basics covered, toilets, showers & kitchen area which includes fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster & kettle.
Also a washing machine :)
Fire pit hire with logs if wanted too.

Would recommend for a quiet relaxing stay.

Disliked Nothing....second time using Menallack & will use again.

Only minor issue would be for larger vehicles, as roads leading here are narrow and winding, but there are plenty of passing places & this is the Cornwall countryside.

Liked The owners were really friendly and the pitches were large and level. There was a nice indoor washing up area with books and items of interest.
Showers were hot.

Disliked Some of the facilities were a bit dated and didn’t appear to be cleaned daily

Liked Beautiful, peaceful spot with wonderful views over the valley. Short drive into Falmouth (could cycle). Also a short drive to Maenporth Beach (favourite).

Good on-site facilities in communal kitchen.

Friendly, and helpful staff.

Shower and toilet block all good. Plenty of available water, and electric points.

Disliked The dread long-legged spiders in the washrooms!
