Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park

Gostou Price was very reasonable especially for summer holidays... Staff at the guest services were very friendly and very helpful. Location was amazing views from the bar were terrific

Não gostou We stayed in a tent, pitches were very regimented in size, ground was very uneven with pot holes almost everywhere.. bathrooms were clean, very outdated.
Food in the restaurant by the outdoor pool was quite poor, watery and lumpy mash, tasteless fish and burnt sausages, the changing rooms for the indoor were quite awful, very dirty, all the lockers were broken. The pool itself was also quite dirty. Also some monster rats behind the entertainment center.

Gostou Great location, lots to do in the area. Affordable camping, good facilities, staff where very helpful.

Gostou We stayed in the campground. Everything was very clean. Kevin and Allison were very friendly and welcoming. The site is close to the beach (although it is a steep walk up/down). We have a lovely time and would certainly consider going back.

Gostou The facilities are very good and clean, particularly the swimming pools. Although there are two playgrounds, they are best suited to very young children.
Good location for east of the island. Staff are helpful.

Não gostou This is essentially a large caravan park , split in two, with one field at the far end for about twenty tents. The campsite is a long way from the facilities (at least 10 minutes), which you need to factor in if you want to pop to the shop or go to the restaurant in the evening etc. and there is no safe short cut.
The short cut suggested involved climbing over a fence and then walking a short distance along a busy road with no pavement, which is not safe with young children.
To walk to the main centre where all the facilities are from the camp site, involves having to cross a fairly busy road on a bend, dangerous with young children. It really needs a pedestrian crossing put in place .
The signage throughout the site is poor, especially to find the campsite - very small signs and not enough of them. Also very hard to find the exit until you've done it a few times.

Gostou Alison & Kevin are brilliant. Super helpful and bailed me out when I realised I'd left crabbing lines at home! Immaculate campsite, great facilities and a fantastic location. We'll definitely be back. :)

Gostou Mooi bij het strand en zwembaden zijn prima. De camping beheerders gaven ons eten en hielpen met een kapot gasstel.

Não gostou Dat het toiletgebouw op slot zit. Dat er niet een toegankelijk wandelpad is naar het hoofdpark. Dat er geen schaduw is gerealiseerd. Dat we om half tien op onze kop kregen dat we te laat aankwamen. Dat je niet even je telefoon kan opladen zonder gedoe.

Gostou Clean - good washing facilities - very helpful managers Kevin and Alison. Free ice block freezing for cool boxes which is much appreciated. Also very flat which is good for bigger tents.

Also good to have access to swimming pool at the caravan park, and a fabulous beach (which is huge, sandy, great for swimming and not accessible other than via a steep footpath which means it’s always empty…)

Não gostou Quite regimented, lots of rules eg camping within marked lines, kids can’t blow bubbles, no fires - not a wild camping atmosphere

Swimming pool is hot as a bath and it’s like a zoo in hot weather, it’s basically a giant kids play pool. For proper swimming you need the sea.

The phone signal is non existent and the WiFi - even when theoretically available - is horrendous - don’t come here relying on any connectivity whatsoever

Gostou Allison & Kevin was very welcoming & very helpful with anything we needed (cold water bottle & matches etc).
The site is clean & tidy with nice hot showers…
It’s a short walk to the beach & the onsite club & bar, we would recommend this site & stay again 🤩😍

Gostou Couple who run a camp site were brilliant, and greeted our family as their own. Very tidy camp site, toilets and showers. Definitely coming back again.
