Gostou Lots of open space and rural setting but so close to Winchester. The bus stop just up the road for the bus into the city.
My husband said that the toilet disposal facilities were the best he’d seen. He even took a photo of it 😀

Não gostou The toilet/shower block. Apparently the one we could use was the only one with heating. It was communal which I really don’t like and very basic, like a public toilet. The washing up room was in there too…..odd!
Wi-Fi was advertised but didn’t get any.

We’re sorry to hear the shower block didn’t meet your expectations. The older block was open during your stay as it has individual self contained heated bathrooms which are nice and cozy when it's colder. There is also a new washing up block with separate washing up areas and a fridge freezer, and we are busy building a new heated facilities block, suitable for the winter months, which will be opening soon. In addition to this, we have our new, modern women's and men's shower blocks which are open during the busier months.

We're sorry to hear you had trouble accessing the WiFi which should be available across the site. Passwords are provided in your welcome email.

We hope you will come and visit again and enjoy the new facilities.

Não gostou Had a bit in an issue finding entry as came from other direction And it was dusk.
Can be a bit of a walk to the facilities From the back pitches.

Gostou Location, peace and quiet, facilities, safe space. Allows fire pits. The warden welcome.

Não gostou Arrivals could be better. A sign saying ‘before entering, pull over and read rules’ as we drove in, didn’t see the rules board and pitched up incorrectly, however, the wardens were very understanding.

Gostou We stayed post school hols. A dog friendly camp site was immaculate. Very quiet. Road noise in the morning noticeable but due to how quiet it is! Wardens, Jo and Kevin are 10/10. Friendly & professional. Walk rounds every evening. Perfect. ANRP car/gate entry. Safe and secure. Truly could not ask for more. Just come prep’d with everything you need.

Não gostou This isn’t a dislike- could be a pro. Shops are a drive to get to. Can’t really find a negative!

Gostou Nice pitches and quiet campsite. Nice and level for campervan. Easy access to bus to Winchester.

Gostou We loved this site! The fact that there's no bar/ restaurant Meant it's lovely and peaceful! The facilities are great, I especially loved the outside washing up area even though there is also washing up facilities under cover too. The toilet/shower blocks were always kept clean. Would definitely recommend for a chilled break! We will return.

Não gostou The only thing I personally disliked was the new showers. The shower head is fixed to the wall and quite high but the water was lovely and warm with good pressure so really no big deal.

Não gostou Lack of motor home grey waste disposal, especially for foreign vans. The shower blocks appeared to be closed for long periods each day.
