Gostou Beautiful location, fire pits for rent, horses and sheep nearby, walking distance to the sea and a nice pub! Would definitely recommend 😊

Não gostou Toilets were always busy but it's school holidays and there was a big group of travellers so not surprising and it was manageable

Do gerente: Thankyou for your feed back, yes the beautiful locations with the downs and the sea in view, we can get very busy at the weekends because its a popular area for walkers and close to newhaven ferry port.

Gostou This excellent site, quiet with good facilities but, best of all, obliging with nothing too much bother, even helping us Jump start our van when it had a flat battery and making sure we were able to make our early morning ferry. Can’t thank them enough or recommend them more highly enough. G&D Mackie

Do gerente: Thankyou for your feed back, we have a clearer open policy on the Pitchup website which clearly states that we have low pressure occasionally.
the views of the downs and the sea are beautiful, the location has good walks and close to the sea front.
the pitches are generous at over 10x10mts.

Gostou The location, the sea views are incredible with plenty of lovely dog walks just outside the site.
Only a short walk into the town and more sea front walks with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.
The sites set up with generous sized pitches with plenty of space in the middle for the kids to play.
The team at the site go above and beyond to help out with anything you need and the food for the bbq we ordered was amazing.
We loved it so much we stayed on extra nights!

Gostou Great views and local walks. Friendly owners. Facilities are basic but perfectly good enough.

Do gerente: Thankyou for your feed back the views of the sea and downs are very rare you dont always get both at the same time and there are lovely walks to the sea and other places.
we are always happy to help anyone, the facilities are basic but adequate.
the price of your stay is the pitch of over 10x10mts which gives you some privacy from the campers but we can look into the prices in the near future

Gostou It was ok Needed another toilet and shower .Secondary toilet block away from the other one .
Otherwise fine need to advise people it is remote so to take all necessary food and supplies.
Plus wifi would be an advantage perhaps charge 2 extra a week for wifi otherwise ok .

Do gerente: Thankyou for your feed back, we are a non electric site so its not possible for wifi, however you can get 5g on your phone on our site, there are some shops close by around 20 mins walk from the site all the attractions and information are on our notice board on our camspite, swimming pool, tescos express, camping shop, and maps of walks to the beach and pubs and local walks.

Gostou Campsite was clean and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I arrived ahead on my own and had to struggle with the giant tent they helped me out. They cared a lot about everyone staying and the upkeep of the space.
The views were beautiful and it was a lovely calm quite space to spend a few nights.

yes the views are beautiful overlooking the Downs and the Sea, many people do choose this site for its peaceful surroundings and the walks.
we do try our best to help people as much as we can to make their stay with us as good as it can possibly be.

Gostou Cheap with beautiful scenary. Facilities were clean but basic.

Não gostou Very low power shower. Wouldn't want to be a girl who needed to wash my hair...

Do gerente: we do welcome all feedback, good or indifferent.
we have never stated or had a power shower and have a clear open policy on the website which states that we are on top of the Downs and we occasionally suffer from low water pressure so that customers can make their own decision whether to visit or not.
we are making improvements and the toilets are now on a separate system which does help the shower.

Gostou What a view!! The staff were so helpful and friendly- nothing was an issue. Gorgeous local produce delivered to our van in the morning for breakfast. The shower block was clean and comfortable. A great time- thank you!

Gostou Very spacious campsite, with clean sanitary block. Only criticism: flow of water to handbasins was very small, and not hot on first morning (later rectified) Lovely views, and excellent grass surface, comfortable to walk on.

with the low flow of the water, we have made improvements to the water system so that the pressure doesn't drop as much when other customers are using the facilities at the same time.
