Não gostou Been here previously when the site first opened and now back again for another visit..the first thing I remember was how noisy the road outside can be especially going into a weekday.. it's a small compact site with an amenities block which is now sadly outdated compared to a lot of other sites we've been on..WiFi on the site has a mind of it's own plus you do struggle with phone signals , the hot water in the shower could be hotter and better pressure... But saying that , there the only things I could mention.

Gostou Clean and easy to access

Não gostou The road noise a couple meters from my van on pitch 10 was very bad during the day and into the evening. It was very unpleasant sitting outside because of it. The manager said in response to another complaint about noise that they 'couldn't have been more transparent' (about the road noise). Well they really could. They describe it as a 'peaceful' location, which in my view is a misrepresentation, and one that I was duped by. They could have explicitly said there would be considerable road noise at some pitches.


I would not return to the site.

In reply we are absolutely transparent any road noise so do not accept at all your false comments that you were in any way 'duped.' Why? As before booking you have access to our website and an aerial video of the road, the area and our park. You also had access to and were also provided links to the videos and our park plan that shows very clearly the proximity of the road to our park.

Our park ranks 9.5/10 on average by our guests and whilst we appreciate our park is not for everybody your comments are both unfair and unreasonable in any lay persons eyes and we have requested Pitchup removes your review accordingly.

So with this information or more to the point in ignoring this information, with a view you would have an issue being near an A road, you still chose to book and then leave an unsubstantiated and unfair review, which is a shame.

Gostou Clean toilets and nice hot shower. Spacious pitch for our van. Only stayed for one night as part of a longer journey, but this would be a good base for exploring the area but not really good for hanging out at your camp.

Não gostou Road was quite noisy during the day but not bad at night. The WiFi advertised was non-existent and there isn’t good mobile signal, so I felt a bit isolated.

We openly advertise and make guests aware of the proximity of the A road before guests book, giving guests the opportunity not to book, although you still booked knowing our park is close to fast but not busy A road.....

Gostou Dark sky, no unwanted light source. Clean shower/ toilets.

Não gostou Unfortunately, road noise,every one had the world noisiest exhaust, or was attempting to break the land speed record, sometimes both.
Not able to connect to WiFi..

Zweckmäßig eingerichtet.
Relativ ruhig.

Gostou Small well kept site that is clean and tidy.

Não gostou Main road outside site very noisy.
To many rules. You will be charged if there gate comes down on your vehicle other issues if some one follows you on site, litigation central.

We have rules due to guests causing previous issues and thus to make guests aware of the same - to inform and aid in avoiding issues. As per our email to you, our barrier provides adequate time to pass through it without damaging the same even though guests have previously damaged our barrier un necessarily. We make no apologies in providing guidance to avoid guests damaging our barrier and the significant cost on us for such damage relative to a small fee for guests to stay on our park.
