Gostou Location…Family/working farm close to York and Castle Howard , which is a must for any visitor to the area

Hot tub.., absolute game changer ., wood fired , chemical free spotlessly clean with plenty of wood with clear instructions how to use

Accommodation …Stayed in the Tucked away camping pod , comfortable bed , with useful kettle, power sockets , air con unit and a small heater (not nessesary in a heat wave)

Peace and quite.., as the name suggests ‘it’s tucked away’ giving a great amount of privacy while still enjoying the views and wildlife..

Facilities…., shower and wc, spotlessly clean

Gostou Had a lovely night away from home! So very peaceful and close to the village with plenty of eateries. Would be a great base for exploring York and the local area. We certainly will be back with the caravan next time!

Gostou We had a wonderful stay at Tucked Away at Cowslip Farm. The pod was cosy, private and exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The wood-fired hot tub was definitely the highlight of the stay and made the experience feel really special.
The location is great – peaceful countryside surroundings while still being close enough to York for day trips. We spent time exploring York, then returned in the evening to enjoy the hot tub under the stars.
The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the information provided before arrival was very helpful.
One thing to note is that this is a camping pod, so make sure you bring everything you need, including bedding and cooking equipment if required. Also, the hot tub takes a little effort to manage, but it is absolutely worth it.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and created some lovely memories. We would definitely recommend it to couples looking for a peaceful getaway with a bit of luxury.

Não gostou The only improvement I would suggest would be a small enclosed kitchen area with a microwave or basic cooking facilities. This would be especially useful during bad weather or for guests staying more than one night.
That said, this did not affect our enjoyment of the stay and did not impact my rating. We had a fantastic experience overall and would happily return.

Gostou So peaceful! What a beautiful place.

We booked here for a night, we wanted a place with a hottub and this suited great.

Great information before arrival, very easy check in. Lady who checked us in was very polite and welcoming, gave us all the information we needed and then left us to it. I literally mean we was surrounded by peace for our full stay! It was bliss.

I like the little touch of local Information including where you can eat or order food. Nice little touch makes a difference.

The pitch we stayed on was very private, a fence around the hottub with cute fairy lights. Then camper was just on the otherside, with a picnic bench. Pitch is well maintained and very clean, great wildlife!

The toilet facilities close by. Modern and clean, warm shower.

The hottub will make your stay, we paid for pre lit so arrived to a warm tub. Sooo warm it was beautiful.

I cannot recommend this enough, as parents of two little ones this was a much needed relaxation treat away.

-Clean facilities with lovely hot shower
-EHU and water tap close to pitch
-chemical waste disposal
-Good WiFi
-Within walking distances of pubs and shop
-Lovely Swedish wood fired hot tub with plenty of logs
-Peaceful location

Não gostou -Some infrequent noise from train line may bother some, although not a significant issue for us.
-Only one toilet and shower which if site at full capacity, may mean a short wait for use.

As a small CL site we do have limited/small facilities. As you were the only visitors on site you enjoyed exclusive use of them…no waiting necessary!

Gostou Everything from arrival to leaving was very good the couple are very friendly the hot tub was very nice there was plenty of wood to last the 4 nights the toilet and shower were both cleaned every day and were well placed it was a nice quiet site there's a golf course about five mins away I would definitely go again the sun was out every day the hot tub was very private we weren't over looked shops near by it is well worth a visit

Gostou Great pitch with hot tub and nice and quiet
Owners very nice and went out of there way to light the hot tub for us as we was in a traffic jam on m62 for 4 hours. Will be going back sometime and wild life great

Gostou the location was perfect, the facilities so clean. It was peaceful and felt secluded and private. The hot tubs was amazing!! and to sit and listen to the birds and watch the sunset was perfect

Gostou Hot tub was great, secluded private pitch which are all well spread out. Beautiful nature and wildlife. Near to shops if you forget anything like us! Short drive into York. Reasonably priced

Não gostou Only 1 shower and toilet but wasn’t an issue when quiet but may be difficult on a busy evening!

To confirm we advertise clearly that as a CL site our facilities are limited and request that those travelling with their own facilities use them to leave our facilities free for those travelling in a tent. Good to point out you were the only visitor on site on Thursday evening prior to the bank holiday so had the shower/wc room to yourselves!
We will now look into the possibility of removing tents as a bookable option onto our hot tub pitches to ensure future visitors have their own facilities to use.
