Ik was blij met Lovely little site just outside York. We had a warm welcome from Kim with loads of info and the perfect pitch! All instructions to get us there and how to use the hot tub were brilliant, we had a lovely view of the fields, some great wildlife to watch and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Super easy to get into York on the bus as well and nice pubs in the village for a pit stop on the way. A very relaxing weekend - exactly what we needed

Ik was blij met Location…Family/working farm close to York and Castle Howard , which is a must for any visitor to the area

Hot tub.., absolute game changer ., wood fired , chemical free spotlessly clean with plenty of wood with clear instructions how to use

Accommodation …Stayed in the Tucked away camping pod , comfortable bed , with useful kettle, power sockets , air con unit and a small heater (not nessesary in a heat wave)

Peace and quite.., as the name suggests ‘it’s tucked away’ giving a great amount of privacy while still enjoying the views and wildlife..

Facilities…., shower and wc, spotlessly clean

Ik was blij met Very peaceful. Hosts were very welcoming. The cabin, tub and facilities were clean and fully functional.

Ik was niet blij met If the site is busy, shower/toilet facilities might be hard to use. But it was nice and peaceful when we were there, so we cannot say for sure.

We advertise as a small CL site and recommend those with facilities use their own during busy times, indeed the email confirmation we send out to all bookings, including yours, confirms this. Unsure why mentioned when you clearly were not inconvenienced in any way. But thank you for taking the time to mention something that you’re not ‘sure’ on!

Ik was blij met Had a lovely night away from home! So very peaceful and close to the village with plenty of eateries. Would be a great base for exploring York and the local area. We certainly will be back with the caravan next time!

Ik was blij met We had a wonderful stay at Tucked Away at Cowslip Farm. The pod was cosy, private and exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The wood-fired hot tub was definitely the highlight of the stay and made the experience feel really special.
The location is great – peaceful countryside surroundings while still being close enough to York for day trips. We spent time exploring York, then returned in the evening to enjoy the hot tub under the stars.
The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the information provided before arrival was very helpful.
One thing to note is that this is a camping pod, so make sure you bring everything you need, including bedding and cooking equipment if required. Also, the hot tub takes a little effort to manage, but it is absolutely worth it.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and created some lovely memories. We would definitely recommend it to couples looking for a peaceful getaway with a bit of luxury.

Ik was niet blij met The only improvement I would suggest would be a small enclosed kitchen area with a microwave or basic cooking facilities. This would be especially useful during bad weather or for guests staying more than one night.
That said, this did not affect our enjoyment of the stay and did not impact my rating. We had a fantastic experience overall and would happily return.

Ik was blij met So peaceful! What a beautiful place.

We booked here for a night, we wanted a place with a hottub and this suited great.

Great information before arrival, very easy check in. Lady who checked us in was very polite and welcoming, gave us all the information we needed and then left us to it. I literally mean we was surrounded by peace for our full stay! It was bliss.

I like the little touch of local Information including where you can eat or order food. Nice little touch makes a difference.

The pitch we stayed on was very private, a fence around the hottub with cute fairy lights. Then camper was just on the otherside, with a picnic bench. Pitch is well maintained and very clean, great wildlife!

The toilet facilities close by. Modern and clean, warm shower.

The hottub will make your stay, we paid for pre lit so arrived to a warm tub. Sooo warm it was beautiful.

I cannot recommend this enough, as parents of two little ones this was a much needed relaxation treat away.

-EHU and water tap close to pitch
-chemical waste disposal
-Good WiFi
-Within walking distances of pubs and shop
-Lovely Swedish wood fired hot tub with plenty of logs
-Peaceful location

Ik was niet blij met -Some infrequent noise from train line may bother some, although not a significant issue for us.
-Only one toilet and shower which if site at full capacity, may mean a short wait for use.

As a small CL site we do have limited/small facilities. As you were the only visitors on site you enjoyed exclusive use of them…no waiting necessary!

Ik was blij met Everything from arrival to leaving was very good the couple are very friendly the hot tub was very nice there was plenty of wood to last the 4 nights the toilet and shower were both cleaned every day and were well placed it was a nice quiet site there's a golf course about five mins away I would definitely go again the sun was out every day the hot tub was very private we weren't over looked shops near by it is well worth a visit
