Ik was blij met So peaceful! What a beautiful place.

We booked here for a night, we wanted a place with a hottub and this suited great.

Great information before arrival, very easy check in. Lady who checked us in was very polite and welcoming, gave us all the information we needed and then left us to it. I literally mean we was surrounded by peace for our full stay! It was bliss.

I like the little touch of local Information including where you can eat or order food. Nice little touch makes a difference.

The pitch we stayed on was very private, a fence around the hottub with cute fairy lights. Then camper was just on the otherside, with a picnic bench. Pitch is well maintained and very clean, great wildlife!

The toilet facilities close by. Modern and clean, warm shower.

The hottub will make your stay, we paid for pre lit so arrived to a warm tub. Sooo warm it was beautiful.

I cannot recommend this enough, as parents of two little ones this was a much needed relaxation treat away.

Ik was blij met Everything from arrival to leaving was very good the couple are very friendly the hot tub was very nice there was plenty of wood to last the 4 nights the toilet and shower were both cleaned every day and were well placed it was a nice quiet site there's a golf course about five mins away I would definitely go again the sun was out every day the hot tub was very private we weren't over looked shops near by it is well worth a visit

Owners very nice and went out of there way to light the hot tub for us as we was in a traffic jam on m62 for 4 hours. Will be going back sometime and wild life great

Ik was blij met the location was perfect, the facilities so clean. It was peaceful and felt secluded and private. The hot tubs was amazing!! and to sit and listen to the birds and watch the sunset was perfect

Ik was blij met Hot tub was great, secluded private pitch which are all well spread out. Beautiful nature and wildlife. Near to shops if you forget anything like us! Short drive into York. Reasonably priced

Ik was niet blij met Only 1 shower and toilet but wasn’t an issue when quiet but may be difficult on a busy evening!

To confirm we advertise clearly that as a CL site our facilities are limited and request that those travelling with their own facilities use them to leave our facilities free for those travelling in a tent. Good to point out you were the only visitor on site on Thursday evening prior to the bank holiday so had the shower/wc room to yourselves!
We will now look into the possibility of removing tents as a bookable option onto our hot tub pitches to ensure future visitors have their own facilities to use.

Ik was blij met Stayed in the hot tub pitch in my campervan really helpful getting set up as had issues with my lead (make sure you have a newer 1 as the prongs are a couple mm longer) very tranquil and very private sunrises and sunsets are amazing even spotted 2 baby deer on our last evening. Everything you need is there we forgot some essential shopping (booze🤣) just eat drivers know this place and what to do. Lots of things to do overall had the best time will be visiting again very highly recommend a stay here 5⭐️ from me

Ik was blij met Booked the premium hot tub pitch for my wife’s birthday for a couple of nights. Friendly welcome, lovely pitch and the hot tub was amazing. Fantastic views and so peaceful.

Ik was blij met Friendly welcome and good advice as to cycling and walking routes plus best way into York. Adored the spacious pitches and I’m now convinced that every camping pitch deserves a hot tub. So lovely to come back to tent, heat up the tub and relax. Will definitely come again and would recommend to anyone.

Ik was blij met Owners were most welcoming lovely peaceful site situated near to York. Had a wood fired hot tub which we unfortunately did not use. But owners offered two nights free when booking next time I don’t think you can ask fairer than that

Van de manager: Thank you for a great review. A shame you chose not to use the hot tub and made the decision prior to travelling so didn’t bring towels etc with you. I offered use of our hospitality towels should you change your mind, but you declined advising you had made the decision not use the hot tub when booking. Just want to make it clear you didn’t use the hot tub due to something we had done wrong or due to malfunction.
