Gostou Close to the town 5/10 min in car
A beautiful site to get close to nature and relax with the tranquility of the outdoors. It’s an up and coming site and Ashley and co are doing a fantastic job and are very welcoming. The last time I stayed it was for 7 nights and I thoroughly enjoyed myself to kick back and relax. Frank and his little pet lamb are brilliant characters. The butchers on site has very tasty produce…Over all a fantastic place. Thankyou Ashley

I believe the pathway is getting some attention as a bit rough.
But as I say it’s up and coming
So brilliant work

Gostou Absolutely beautiful spot, peaceful and only had one other person camping at the same time as us. Friendly staff an absolute gem of a place me and my son had a wonderful time. Saw owls, woodpeckers and of course the sheep. Amazingly located and would recommend the little climb the hill to the tree line and take in the panoramic views of the coast and the hills. Second night was incredibly clear and the stars were breathtaking.

Não gostou Although it is mentioned clearly, this is an active sheep field, for that reason the amount of sheep poo is remarkable you cannot walk more than a foot and it’s everywhere. Perhaps fencing the area where the picnic benches are and clearing it would be beneficial, it’s not the most sanitary as there is so much of it, the location is so good I would happily pay more for the pitch if the area was clear of sheep faeces. For that reason I have not given a 10. Also more than one bin would be beneficial.

Gostou Very quite wild camping , sheep roaming around the field with you, just a porta loo on the way in , if you just want somewhere quite and simple to stay this is great

Não gostou Very steep uneven temporary road to an uneven camp field. One portaloo for whole site which was very smelly and no toilet roll. Hosts are not present, no clear direction either

Do gerente: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.
We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests. We contacted you on the day of your arrival and asked you to let us know when you arrived, as you had pre-ordered a meat pack and fire pit. We were dealing with a function on site at the time, but as soon as we were free, we brought your order and fire pit directly to you. We also offered, and provided, a lift to the main road so that you could get your taxi.
As a newly established wild campsite, the access road has only recently been put in and, as explained during your stay, it is currently an uneven temporary road while we continue developing the site. We are actively working on improving the access and facilities as the campsite grows.
We’re also sorry that the toilet facilities were not up to the standard you expected. We take comments regarding cleanliness and toilet roll availability seriously and will make sure these are addressed.
We appreciate all feedback as we continue improving the site, although we feel it is important that the review also reflects the assistance provided during your stay.

Gostou Really hospital owner. Wonderful friendly sheep! Clean toilet and beautifully arranged changing room. Lovely camp spot.

Gostou Beautiful peaceful site, ideal for a quiet escape. Portaloo was spotless, handy hut for changing, and picnic tables were a bonus. We'll definitely come back.
