Gostou All facilities were as advertised, nice and private pitch with hot tub and outdoor cooking facilities. Staff on the whole were helpful and polite.

Não gostou We booked with 2 other couples and although 1 had a pitch for their camper van quite close by the other couple were in the field at the top of the lane, which does seem out of the way and they were the only motor home in there and couldn’t be moved.

As the bookings were made individually, we weren’t aware you were part of the same group. We also only had one of that pitch type available, which had already been booked when your reservation was made, so two matching pitches weren’t possible.
Additionally, due to the size of the 8.5 metre vehicle, it wouldn’t have been suitable for the main site even if space had been available.
Your friends were very welcome to move up to the Piggyback field, which offers lovely views and a more peaceful setting, as described at booking.

Gostou Absolutely brilliant stay here staff were all super friendly and helpful the campsite was very well maintained. The facilities were all very clean and looked after. It's a very very child friendly site with walks round the site and the best bit is every morning the kids can go and meet the farmer and help feed some of the animals if they want to. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone.

Gostou We really like it here and the kids love the animals. Especially the chickens. Only thing I would recommend is taking hard standing tent pegs. If you have small kids it would be worth taking a toilet as it’s a walk down the road.

Gostou Loved the location, with shops a 5 minute drive away, near Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington, so provided a wide variety of things to do outside of the farm. Plenty to do on the farm with play area and farm animals to walk, feed and pet.

Gostou The farm and facilities were great. It was clean, and there were lots of animals for the children to see. The park is small but enough to burn off some steam with the kids.

Check in was easy and the staff we interacted with were pleasant.

Não gostou We were up on the Piggy Back section of the farm, and I think other campers felt the rules didn’t apply up there. The site has quiet time from 9:00pm which is why we chose it because our kids are young (3 and 6). Some families were respectful but most were not.

Other parents were not watching their children, and there was a disregard for the noise levels. I’m putting this politely here but ultimately we only stayed one night because it was that bad. We nearly packed up at 10:30pm because it was unenjoyable. We didn’t complain to the site and maybe they’d have rectified if we did; we didn’t want to be ‘those people’.

I think it would have been better if Humble Bee sent someone up to ensure everyone was being respectful of each other. I’ll be looking out for this on future campsites. (We are new to camping).

Someone came up in the following morning on the quad and I think they were checking people were being quiet in the AM. We were already packing up by this point.

Also, it’s worth noting Piggy back is on a hillside not in the valley like the rest of the site, so if it’s windy you’ll know about it.

There are a few camp spots in the valley on the main site so I’d probably go for those in future if we came back. Maybe that section was checked with it being closer to the main hub.

Piggy Back is our newer campsite with stunning views across the Yorkshire Wolds with non-ehu and ehu pitches.
We are sorry to read that you felt some families that were staying on Piggy Back didn’t stick to our low noise policy from 9pm.
One of our team does inspect the entire site at intervals including an evening check and if there is any unnecessary noise, then it would be tackled at that point.
We send out a prearrival email which includes a phone number which can be used if a situation needs addressing; similarly, our office is open from 9am daily to 5pm where any issues can be raised and we would be more than happy to help resolve any difficulties that guests feel they have.
We are more than happy to help our guests if they have any queries so they can enjoy their stay to the fullest.

Gostou Camped with friends on the main field at the end of all the glamping pods. There's only 5 pitches here and reasonably flat.
Plenty of space, easy access to water. A bit of a trek to the toilet and wash room but well kitted out.
Great play area for the children. And each morning you can go and feed the animals with the farmer, fun but gets busy.

No phone signal but there is WiFi available
Glad we read reviews before going, as we would not have been happy on the piggy back field, to far from toilets.
