With stunning views over mixed countryside in the pretty county of Worcestershire, Mill House is home to a range of well-maintained pitches and some good amenities, including a toilet block, showers and a handy washing-up area for your pots and pans. Its location also helps it to stand out, as the site is between the scenic River Severn and the Droitwich Canal, a quick 10-minute drive from the centre of historic Worcester and next to an attractive marina. Mill House is a chilled-out kind of place – one where you're welcome to bring dogs along to join the family break and barbecues are permitted for some alfresco eats. Supermarkets, butchers and other amenities are just a short drive down the A449, making it simple to source provisions for your stay. There’s also a local bus route a short distance away, so it's easy to leave the car back at base and get out and about in the local area. Fancy a spot of angling? At Mill House, river fishing is available for an extra fee. There are also plenty of walks and cycling trails along the waterways and in the surrounding countryside to explore during your time here.

Gostou The facilities were well looked after, the showers and toilets were clean and there was plenty of soap and lotion, additional bonus - hairdryer, great addition.

Não gostou The site was very close to a motorway which made it quite a noisy place

Gostou Was a lovely big tree in the quiet field. When we arrived it was over 30 degrees and we pitched under it. Fabulous.
Toilet block close by. Has a wee onsite bar. Very reasonable prices.
Pitches well kept, nice vibe about the place.
Canal walk available.
Friendly staff

Não gostou The toilets had obviously been cleaned, but lots of people unable to clean up after themselves.
No free wifi

Gostou Lovey site. Very clean.
Next to the canal for lovely peaceful walks.
Bar area is a nice touch - very social on sunny evenings.

Não gostou Nothing to dislike, but some areas very popular with families/kids so were ‘lively’ through the day.

Gostou Spacious site with excellent toilet/shower block. Good walks along canal or river Severn accessible from the site.
Ideal location for Worcester and the surrounding area. Easy access to M5 motorway.

Não gostou Nothing can be done about it but road noise is intrusive.

Excellent value, already recommended to a couple of friends.

Gostou Quiet, clean site with spacious pitches. Near perfect level. Toilet/shower blocks were excellent, seemed almost new inside. The canal side walk was a nice change from pounding the pavements. Staff were very pleasant and approachable. As pensioners (70+ and 80+) even the hourly bus into Worcester was easily reached with a walk of a few minutes.

Não gostou The Wi-Fi is the only disappointment, but we don't choose sites only based on Wi-Fi availability.

Great facilities I will be coming back soon

Lovely and peaceful had a nice walk up the canal would recommend to friends

Gostou Bar is an added bonus and next to the river. Lovely setting with the river running through it. Friendly staff.

Não gostou Too many seasonal pitches allocated and some of them looked unkempt making it appear like the site was not as well kept which was a shame. As there are so many seasonal pitches there are not enough nice pitches left for tourers.
Motorised scooters and bikes tearing around and not challenged in areas that they shouldn't be in.

Excellent site, great facilities, good pitch sizes and a nice bar.

As it's just a few miles to the north of Worcester (10 minutes' drive), you're sure to want to get into the city to visit attractions like Worcester Cathedral (with its famous Norman Crypt), the timber-framed Tudor House Museum, the Royal Worcester Museum with its extensive porcelain collection and Worcester Woods Country Park (out of town, 15 minutes’ drive), which is great for a picnic or dog walk. Slightly further afield, a half-hour drive will get you into the midst of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a green and grassy range of peaks with lots of hikes to choose from. Head in the opposite direction for a day trip to Kinver Edge (half an hour), an elevated sandstone ridge and ancient hillfort with far-reaching views. Got kids who need to be kept entertained? Cadbury World (40 minutes) on the edge of Birmingham is sure to prove popular with sweet-toothed tiddlers. Other good options in the vicinity of Mill House include the West Midland Safari Park (20 minutes) and Full Throttle Raceway (half an hour), where there's a separate mini track for young children.
