Gostou Enjoyed our time here.. Could the toilets be separate from the 2 shower rooms, ques at busy times.

Gostou Nice location quiet area with plenty of walks 20 minute drive to Skegness there is also a pub on site but limited opening times but were very welcoming. Very small shower block but never had to wait!! Good spacious showers not push button!

Não gostou Would have liked the pub to have extended hours especially as bank holiday weekend and the pitch was full. Nice outdoor seating

Gostou It was kept neat and tidy, the fact that it was adult only (as this was our first trip child free) pleasant countryside. Far enough out from the hustle and bustle, but not too far to travel. Very quiet and nice hidden campsite.

Não gostou The facilities, the flooring within the shower rooms have rotted away the only thing holding it together is the lino flooring. ( needs some tlc or there will be an accident) up to 20 pitches with only 2 toilets and 2 showers conjoined, making differcult for those only awaiting toilet differcult. Didn't see any owners to discuss these issues face to face.
Electric hook up for the top part of the field is far and made differcult to plug in, and we have a 15meter line, so id recommend a longer cable.

Do gerente: Thank you for your review.it is appreciated. I am pleased that you would visit again. The facilities are under repair one of them if your other half had not noticed now has a concrete floor with a new covering so it cannot see that sinking too soon. The other one is not so bad and is going to be repaired in the same way. The amount of toilets to pitches I really do not know how many times I am going to have to say this I do not let all the pitches out (never), I only let out 12 on the grass and 3 on the gravel on the whole only 15 pitches at a time. I like people to be able to arrive a little early leave a little bit latter and some who want to stay an extra night or 2.. Electric hook up if your lead cannot reach I lend them out for free. You could have spoken to me face to face at anytime I own this secret garden and I am the chef too look forward to seeing you again at sometime..

Gostou Our second visit to this lovely site. Pitches are large and being able to choose your own pitch is an added bonus. Hassle free self check in with lots of signs explaining for those who are not sure. It was a busy bank holiday weekend but as the pitch is so large it did not feel like you were on top of each other. We booked in advance for meals in the pub which were delicious. Homemade, large portions and all fresh veg. Very reasonably priced for a homecooked meal and we found it value for money. Definitely recommend the food and booking in advance so as not to be disappointed!
Yes the toilets need the floor doing and the owner is sorting this and this small matter never deterred us. We understand that wear and tear happens in all places. What is important is they were kept immaculately clean.
A very peaceful site with lots of amenities within a short drive for those looking for a bit more entertainment however we felt very relaxed after spending time relaxing in such a peaceful setting. Sometimes the wifi connection failed but the site was busy and Wifi is included in the price so no complaints for the connection we got. We spent our last night as the only campers and felt very lucky that we had the site to ourselves!

Gostou This is a lovely peaceful adults only site surrounded by the countryside but not to far away from Skegness if you want to visit the beach, fair and markets.

Pauline and her staff were very friendly and accommodating, we forgot to pack our dogs leads and she very kindly loaned us some for the duration of our stay was very much appreciated by myself and husband.

The pub is a lovely village pub with good outdoor seating area and the food is not to be missed we ate there on 2 consecutive nights and it did not disappoint large portions and very tasty.

Bathrooms (shower, toilet & sink combined) are small but functional and were kept spotlessly clean all through our stay. Good pot wash area for washing up.

We stayed on a gravel pitch and never had any problems with the wifi although it was busy.

Gostou What's not to like ! Self check in which was no problem information boards are clearly displayed .Spacious level pitches(we had a gravel pitch) and two immaculately clean self contained bathrooms .The site was very tidy and clean,in a very tranquil setting just behind The Eves pub.Now,thats another story ! Pauline( the owner of the site and pub)and Emily gave us a warm welcome and we met a delightful barman Aiden .We were welcomed by locals all of whom made us feel very comfortable.The food at the pub is exceptional! Fabulous menu,generous portions and exceptional quality.We ate there on two consecutive evenings ...I can't recommend this site enough .We will definitely return.Thank you all,we loved our stay.

Gostou Excellent as always our 3rd visit now . Peaceful well kept site with electric . Bathroom facilities great .
Food in pub fantastic home cooked high quality , generous portions we had blade of beef melted in your mouth would highly recommend .

Gostou We arrived on the bank holiday monday and found we were the only ones on site. We choose our own pitch and then sat back and enjoyed the piece and quiet of the adult only site. Visited local towns during the day.
And took advantage of a meal in the pub on the Friday night. We got to know Pauline the Landlady and owner and her local friends from the village who are lovely. Having had a wonderful stay we decided to have Sunday dinner before leaving for home stuffed. Loved the tranquil break and will be visiting again.

Não gostou 1.As already mentioned in other reviews and actioned for fixing,👍 the toilet/shower room floor.
2.Wonky toilet seat.
3. Other campers before us, dumping waste grey water in the small dyke/soak aways surrounding the camp field that not only damage wildlife but creat bad smells and encourages mosquitos.

Gostou Like the Pub/Restaurant was excellent and good service

Não gostou Plenty of room to park our Motorhome,the facilities toilet and showers need upgrading was a bit disappointed with them. The Pub and restaurant was really good the food was excellent some of the best food I’ve had.

Gostou Nice big grass pitches. Nice and quiet. Lots of footpaths through countryside. The food in the pub was delicious and very generous portions.

Não gostou Although the toilets and showers were clean they could do with some attention. The floors were soft in places and felt a bit unsafe.
