Gostou This was my second stay at the Lodge but about my sixth time here since Easter, I absolutely love this site, the Lodge is exceptionally clean and tidy, extremely spacious and your own private parking space, the fishing here for me is out of this world, the fish are way bigger than most other fisheries and that's just on the pleasure lake, I can't imagine how it may be on the specimen lake (maybe next time),the gentleman who comes around for your fishing fee's is a lovely man, has all the time in the world for you and never stops smiling and laughing, all in all a great (clean and tidy)place to fish and relax within beautiful surroundings

Gostou Great place to stay and Claire couldn’t be more accommodating. Lovely peaceful setting even though we weren’t fishing. Well equipped and loved the gas bbq outside.

Gostou Beautiful lodges in a peaceful area. Lovely and clean, had everything we needed.
We didn’t do fishing but watched others and it was amazing seeing the amount they caught and the size of the fish. Staff were very helpful and polite.
We would definitely go again.

Gostou peaceful clean and very good sized and equipped lodge fishing was great Graham the bailiff was brilliant was always on hand even when my son got snagged on specimen lake can't thank him enough

Gostou Absolutley perfect stay. Beautiful and peaceful. The lodge was perfect and clean. Fishing was brilliant, dad and son both caught their PB's. We will be back again as often as we can, so glad we found this gem !

Gostou The setting was lovely and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. TV and Wi-Fi worked. Great shower.

Não gostou Terrace door didn’t lock properly, as a sole female traveler I felt unsafe at night.
Could have done with kitchen roll and cling film in the kitchen, but everything else I needed was available.
Lack of any reception area; I was dropped off by taxi at the entrance and had no clue what to do. A maintenance man kindly showed me to my lodge after I had walked around a bit with all my luggage. A clearer instruction on booking would have been appreciated.

Apologies for forgetting to send an email with instructions on what to do on arrival. We are a very small site so don't actually have a reception here as we grow it is something we will look at doing. We would have been more than happy to have looked at the front doors and sorted the issue out. Actually there is a Guest book in each Lodge with telephone numbers to call if there was any issues with the lodge and our maintenance man would have corrected it. I'm sorry that you didn't feel safe being on your own.
