We appreciate your comments regarding the Wi-Fi. Reliable Wi-Fi across the whole site has been on our bucket list for some time, and we’re pleased to say that fibre broadband is at last being trenched into our area, something we have been waiting a long time for! As soon as it is installed, we plan to put a dedicated service in place that will provide connectivity around the site, rather than just near the barn.

Gostou Nice friendly welcome on arrival, pitches were a good size and the grounds were kept nice.

Não gostou Toilets were cold to the point the toilet roll was damp, my partner showered but wished he hadn’t as the water was cold to! The road noise was also a constant drone throughout the night, which disturbed our sleep. Finally, although we chose to pay the £10 fee for an early arrival, we felt this was rather expensive for just 1.5 hours, particularly out of season.

Regarding the toilets and showers, another guest had brought the same issue to our attention, and we discovered that following an electrical interruption, the heating and hot water had not automatically restored as they should have. This was rectified immediately once we were made aware. We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused, and we only wish you had informed us during your stay, as we would have been more than happy to investigate and resolve the issue for you straight away.

With regard to the road noise, we appreciate that everyone has different sensitivities when it comes to sleeping, although this has not generally been an issue raised by our guests.

Regarding the early arrival fee, this charge is communicated to guests before arrival, allowing everyone to make an informed choice about whether to take advantage of the additional time on site.

We are sorry that your experience was disappointing and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us maintain the standards we aim to provide to all our guests.

Gostou We had a lovely stay at Lawns and Lakes Campsites. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the site was clean and well maintained, with level pitches and plenty of space for our Sprocker, to go off lead around the edge. We also enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch that was fresh, tasty and plentiful. A lovely, welcoming campsite with great food. We would happily recommend it and look forward to returning!

Gostou It’s a wonderful site, the bar is lovely and a great selection of cakes. The food looked really nice (didn’t get chance to try it but definitely will next time) the toilets and showers were spotless. It’s a very relaxing place and a nice walk around the lake. 5⭐️

Gostou Lovely site. Really enjoyed my stay.
Good access to the site for all means of camping and caravaning.The site was secure with coded access gate. Everywhere was so clean and tidy. The facilities where some of the nicest I've have seen,showers where hot and both toilets and showers where cleaned daily.good and very level where ever you where on the site. The site owners where very helpful and friendly. I'm not a fisherman but was told that the fishing was good. People around the site where very friendly and always liked a chat. The Barn restaurant and bar where a great addition to my stay. Food was good and very tasty and a decent pint to go with it. I will definitely be back.
Great guy's keep it up.
