Gostou This is a beautiful campsite. The pitches are spaced out generously, cut out of a pretty meddow filled with wild flowers and ancient Oak trees. The pitches and paths are mowed down with clear signs for each pitch. We stayed on Wye Salmon which was plenty big enough for 3 big tents, and an event shelter. A wooden picnic bench is also provided on each pitch.You are alocated a toilet for your pitch so your dont share with other campers, and there are 8 showers on site. The car park is located outside of the field and wheel barrows are provided to take your stuff to the pitch. Sarah the host/site owner is only a text message away. She is very friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. She sent an email before our stay to make sure our family were pitched together. Sarah came every day to clean the toilets, showers and washing basin. There is no drinking water on site so you will need to bring your own. This is the only thing I would say other people commnted on. We were happy to bring our own and Ross on Wye is a 8 minute drive away with plenty of supermarkets for supplies. We has stunning weather throughout our stay which made all the difference. The site is located just off the river Wye, so you can also arrive by canoe, which lots of people did while we were there. There are also walks in both directions. We had a dog with us which are also allowed for a small extra fee. This site is good value for money. I would say its luxury wild camping with the bonus of having clean facilities available. The price is reasonable. We will definitely come back again and look forward to more camps in the future.

Gostou Great location with nearby attractions, pitches well apart from other campers, plenty of toilets and showers for all.

Gostou Space is great. Love that you are not right next to your neighbours. Bathroom facilities are incredibly clean, much appreciated!

Gostou Very spacious pitches with lots of beautiful wildlife and ancient oak trees kept untouched.
Pristine cleanliness showers and toilets cleaned and restocked daily with individual toilets for each pitch
Very close to Ross-on-wye and other local attractions and activities.
Right next to a beautiful river
We did not see the owner nor there was a check in, but she was very easy to contact and has provided very clear instructions before the trip.
Plenty of wheelbarrows to transport items from the car
Excellent phone reception throughout the campsite.

Não gostou It was a bit awkward to access especially for our little car with lots of big rubble on the ground and windy tracks.
Right next to a busy A road so you can hear it throughout the day but it was easy to ignore.
No drinking water in the campsite.
Quite pricey.

Gostou Beautiful surroundings with designated camping area and lots of space between campers. Loos and showers were immaculate. Communication from Sarah was great. Best camp site I have been too!!

Gostou Location was amazing on the banks of the Wye. The Pitches were really well spaced out so you were not close to anyone else, and the facilities were spotlessly clean, each pitch gets their own toilet which was fantastic. Watching the Stag moon come up behind Goodrich castle when we were the only people on site was spectacular!

Não gostou Slightly difficult to find from the A40 as Google maps does not take you to the location, just to a layby near the location, a detailed description on the web page or in the app would be most appreciated.
