Não gostou There could be a little bit more on site in regards for children. Like some stepping stones or something.
Barbeques limited - couldn’t locate any coal.
Would be nice if there was an area for a bit of shelter near picnic tables.

Gostou Pitch sizes are excellent and the site is predominantly flat.
A free to use charging station for mobile phones is a good touch.
A short walk to the pub in the village.
On site catering.
The composting toilets were great when the others weren't available.

Não gostou The facilities, whilst clean, didn't meet expectations for the price paid.
The site suffers from low water pressure which meant the toilets often didn't flush and the showers were a dribble.
There's also not enough toilets/showers for the number of pitches, so people were frequently queuing.
There's no real place to be able to have just a wash. There are a few communal sinks but they're only good for teeth brushing.
The chemical waste disposal is right behind the washing/shower area, and doesn't have a trap, so you get drain smells when people are emptying.
The WiFi only worked intermittently due to too many people being connected.
The advertising gives the impression that there's direct access to the lakes from the site - there isn't.

Many of the problems stated were as a result of the number of people on the site, which was busy due to the August bank holiday. This is partly due to the flat pricing structure - it was £40/night for up to 6 people. This makes it very expensive for a couple and means the owners don't really know how many people they need to be able to cater for.

Gostou It was lovely and flat, and the pitches were pretty big. Also, lots of toilet roll in the toilets, which is much appreciated.

Não gostou There weren't really enough toilets and washing up facilities for the numbers there on bank holiday weekend. The toilets were cleaned regularly but the smell of the septic tank wasn't great - particularly as we were given a pitch very close to the toilets. The place to empty chemical toilets is also right by the washing up sinks, which isn't great. Would be useful if the washing up sinks had draining boards, and there is no sink space to have a wash...

Gostou Walking distance from the lakes and pub site clean and well kept.
Food trailer on site was great for breakfast and easy tea

Gostou Good location for Cotswold Beach and lots of space pitch was good size with electric

Não gostou Very Expensive for the facilities provided Toilets were posh portaloos showers very basic ...no where to get rid of black and grey waste
Food van misleading on website is only there on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday
No reception area

Gostou We had a wonderful time. Great food on site from the food van. The owner Mike was super friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were clean. We would go back.

Gostou Good location close to Cirencester and in the Cotswold lakes. Clean toilets and showers. Good local pub.

Não gostou Only gave the customer service a low score as we didn’t see anyone the whole time. You have a pitch number in the confirmation email and there are no staff onsite.

Gostou Wifi was good and toilets and showers were good, although by the morning it was carnage, only to be expected with so many people and children 🫤

Não gostou Was very disappointed to discover there was no access to the lakes, as the site name and pictures led us to believe, rather annoying.
So we were trapped there with nowhere to walk to with our dog, and there were many many children to listen to… 🤪
