Gostou: Very relaxed camp site, lot's of space and not too loud. about 30 minute walk to Mam Tor which was great as we wanted to catch the sunrise so perfect site for those wanting to do this.

Gostou: Great location, Mam Tor a 15 min walk away, plenty of space, flat pitches, easy to find, quiet area, can be very windy which is fine, supermarket 10 mins away
Não gostou: Only 1 shower working for whole campsite and it kept getting blocked, toilets running out of paper

Gostou: Great location in the heart of the beautiful high peaks. Walking distance to both Edale and Castleton. Mam Tor right there and a gorgeous hike to Kinder Scout plus other peaks. The site is basic and a good size. Lots of space for kids to play on their bikes which was nice to see.
Não gostou: Ask people to take their rubbish home or have enclosed bins. There was a skip that stuff was being dumped in and litter kept on blowing out of it.

Gostou: The site was very flat, clean, mostly quiet. Liked you can choose your own space, not too far to walk to the bathroom and showers! The washing up area was useful and check in was easy

Não gostou: only one shower per gender for the whole campsite - and this wasn't very clean. Plus you pay £1 for only 3 mins for the shower

Gostou: Great little farm site, decent shower blocks and toilets.
They have a little shop selection (similar to a tuck-shop) in the farmhouse entrance. For a few hours at weekends and Bank Holidays, they have a little pop-up hot food van with breakfasts and sometimes hot-potatoes in the evenings.
Short walk away from Mam Tor and the Hope Valley.
Just to note, check-in is in the farmhouse on the right hand side

Gostou: Just had my 4th stay at Rowter farm campsite. As a solo female camper I’ve always felt safe and welcome here and there is usually plenty chats with other campers. Fab wee campsite with great views, some great walks and not too far from Castleton village. Facilities are basic but kept clean. Shouldn’t be long before I’m back for my 5th stay.
Não gostou: I’ve not found anything to dislike on any of my stays.

Gostou: Very good place to stay in a good connection to lots of things to do and seeing. In the evening it is not far away to go for sunset. I love it. Very beautiful views and good point to go for a bike ride and walking. The pitches was beautiful when in the morning you wake up next to sheep walking around. That’s was so funny for a kids when they wake up. And in Saturday it was chance to buy a delicious jacket potato. You can also rent a fire pit with logs for a small amount.
Não gostou: I don’t know if was something to dislike? No I am so happy with my stay.

Gostou: Clean campsite, great location
Não gostou: We stayed at Rawter Campsite for 2 nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Both nights were extremely noisy – people were shouting and playing loud music well into the early hours, and no one from the site management seemed to intervene. On top of that, someone arrived during the night and noisily set up a tent in the dark right next to us, disturbing everyone nearby.
We barely slept either night and couldn't enjoy our evenings in peace. I would definitely not recommend this campsite for families with small children.
The site also felt overbooked and disorganised. There were no clearly marked pitches, so people just parked and pitched wherever they wanted, making the space feel cramped.
Additionally, showers cost £1 for just 3 minutes, which seems unreasonable considering the price of the stay – that really should be included.
The only positives were that our pitch was clean and the location itself is lovely. But sadly, that wasn’t enough to make up for the lack of peace and proper management. We won't be returning.
