Niepolubione It is a lovely campsite although needs a few improvements as feels a little dated, The showers in the non-electric field were not powerful, water dribbled out and the cubical was tiny. When I went to mop the floor the mop had seen better days. Washing up was tricky as 1. The water was piping hot, there are 2 massive butler sinks but nowhere to drain your washed up pots. Like I said it is a lovely campsite it just needs a little TLC

Polubione EVERYTHING !! Mandy and Dave have thought of everything. The lodges are set on a small farm with sheep and Bonny the " In training" sheep dog for entertainment. There is everything you'll need within from a fully equipped kitchen to the little extras Mandy has added to make this a delight to stay in. A pint of milk in the fridge, a box of Maltesers and so much more. Its a great place to explore the likes of Scarborough,Whitby and make sure you don't miss out Flamborough Lighthouse. Thank you for making this such a dlightful stay, your're the perfect hosts

Polubione Showers were clean, good washing up facilities and nice to have a bench and firepit at each pitch. Nice coastal walks and friendly pub 10 minutes down the road

Niepolubione Owner responded poorly to large group making noise till after 12.30am despite claims of otherwise. Woken up again at 6.30am by the same group the owners claimed they'd ask to leave .Nobody on site to deal with the issues, only person we saw was bombing around the site on a quad bike half heartidly checking the toilets. Toilets in principal are a good idea but if you are a male needing to sit down on them, you either have to hold your genital out the way or have it sit in the trough were the wee goes. Complained but got the same kind of response you see on some of the reviews on Pitchup. Owner offered us a free stay, but with a site that feels like they are putting in minimum resources to gain as much as they can, why would we take them up on the offer when there is far better out there. Every bit of contact is done via text, eventually blocked the number on our return. The owners response to us saying we'd contact Pitchup up was, " if you was in a holiday resort on a beach you would not get refunded if another guest made a noise", AVOID !!!

Od administratora: Ah you stuck to your word and gave us a bad review if we did not refund you! No matter, you stayed for two nights and no complaint for your first night. The second night an unannounced group did arrive that had booked 5 separate pitches as any other family would do. They did not book as a group as this is not allowed. On the realisation these people were travelling as one, i personally spoke to them at their pitches to remind them of the site rules and to be respectful to other guests. seeing as they all looked middle aged I did not anticipate a problem. We did get complaints from approx. 9pm onwards and after repeated dialogue with them we asked them to leave. I am not sure what else you could expect us to do in this situation. They did leave the next morning all be it far too early, but they went. Both I and the other site owner was the ones cleaning the toilets, not on a quad but a utility 4 wheel drive vehicle with a tipper back. We offered you a free night stay as a goodwill gesture although the noisy guests were dealt with as legally possible. We are available 24 hours as you know when you contacted us in the evening. reviews from guests on the same night you stayed...•Helpful management: When our pitch was missing a fire pit, staff responded promptly and directed us to a spare one .•Clean facilities: Toilets were checked regularly and maintained to a good standard :• Noise from large groups: During our weekend stay, several large groups occupied multiple pitches and were noisy late at night and early in the morning, despite campsite rules. This can be hard to police but did impact the experience. Liked: I like how the campsite is geared towards sustainability and eco-friendliness. Loved the location and the wildlife, wild flowers, birds and insects, real nature! Walks around the Thames, and East Tilbury which I found to be a welcoming place with good shops and good food at the nearby pub. Thanks for a lovely time and I hope to return before long. Liked: Fire pit and picnic bench. Peaceful. Tidy Liked: The staff and the laidback vibe Liked: Well maintained and managed site with the owner even checking if everything's alright Other than asking them to leave, which we did, and they went what more could we do? Hardly possible for us to refund 150 guests because of the actions of a few. Thanks for the review, all the best

Polubione This was a lovely, quite site where the village is a nice 15 minute walk where you can find a lovely bakery, butchers, and co-op. We popped in to the art studio where dogs are welcome. There was a lovely selection of different art and craft for sale from local artists. The Abraham Social club is a 5 minute walk and if you say you are at the camp the give you the members discount. The facilities are clean and basic, there was also a washing machine and fridge and freezer use. You can just sit and watch people fish if that is more your thing.

Niepolubione It's not so much a dislike but if the campsite was full, I don't think 2 showers and 2 toilets would be enough, although most people were in caravans and not tents like us.

Polubione Everything, Dan was there to meet us upon our arrival and gave us a choice of field in which we wanted to pitch. We were handed a welcome sheet with all the relevent information such as shop opening times followed by a lovely fish and chip supper on the Friday evening. Nothing was to much trouble for the hosts, they helped with sightseeing and random questions of award winning titles that were asked by the hubby! The facilities were spotless, lots of shower space, recycling, a dog walking field, washing up facilities, drinkng water and even spare wellies if needed. We are looking forward to attending the autumn star gaze.

Polubione We really enjoyed our stay at the Heritage coast, on arrival you are shown around and made to feel at home instantly, the view was amazing and neighbouring families were lovely. The Plough and Harrow was lovely and will let dogs in the garden. but if wishing to eat in if you have a dog in tow the Lamb and Flag in neighbouring Wick is equally lovely and the locals are so sweet and helpful. The walk to the beach is picturesque although best to go in morning when tide is out. The showers are worth the money, the are hot and clean. You can really see the staff and owners keep the place running smoothly and we'll. Nothing is too much trouble.

Niepolubione My only complaint is there really needs to be more toilets/showers for the amount of pitches that are let, a good 30 tent spaces with 2 showers and toilets in both mens and ladies room. There can be a slight wait for these facilities and washing up facilities also.

Polubione Everything, the owners were welcoming and warm, everything has been thought of from extra blankets to wood burners and bug spray. the environment was beautiful and the pub serves amazing food.
