Polubione Distance to Belvoir Castle for our event. Cleanliness of toilets & shower & general environment. It is a basic site, but perfect for exactly what we needed. Ease of getting on site. Value for money. Pretty at night time with the solar lights. The cafe round the corner.

Niepolubione Ants - not the owners fault, just be savvy about food/rubbish. The ground is quite hard (had very little rain) if tenting take decent pegs, we bent up quite a few - again not something the owners could do about it.

Od administratora: Rachel, thank you for leaving a review on The Beeches Campsite. You hit the nail firmly on the head there that we are a basic site but are geared towards families. We have made so many changes over the close season in updating and making the site look nice and appealing. We do have a close working relationship with the cafe owners and as such we both benefit from business. The ants are an ongoing problem and with the weather as it has been has meant they can be problematic but I’m sure we’re not the only ones going through this. You’re absolutely right about being savvy with very little rain and although we’ve tried watering to get grass to regrow, this is a very hard job to do just now. So glad you mentioned about pegs as we do have a couple of inches of topsoil on the site but it is pure limestone underneath. I have had to remove pegs that people have left due to them bending but these did not agree with our lawnmower at all. We’d welcome you again with us to stay at The Beeches and that you thoroughly enjoyed your event at Belvoir Castle. Thank You

Polubione Large pitches. Quietness. Cleanliness. Within walking distance of the rewilding area, we saw a wild pig,a herd of cattle and deer. Friendliness of host. Dog friendly. Pond with plenty of fish, resident heron, geese with goslings. Shower cost £1 (put in a meter) wasn't on a timer and the towel radiator warmed up too which was lovely - i have no problem with paying to shower. Other campers were respectful of each other and the facilities.

Niepolubione Not a dislike, but would've liked a fold down stool in the shower room to either sit on or put clothes on.

Polubione Electric hook up, large well looked after pitches, the lake. Ease of check in and left to set up. Toilet's clean and always had loo roll.

Niepolubione Sewage smell within the showers, people who don't clean up after themselves having a shower, could probably do with a broom specifically for shower floors.
