Just an amazing site, with great new shower and toilet facilities, a games room with a pool table/ping pong/tv/sofa/oven etc, and a play area for children

The animals are fantastic, and they are brought out every day at 11am, if there are children on site they have an opportunity to walk them... and you can learn so much from Michelle about their backgrounds and how to approach them properly.

The location is beautiful, peaceful and has lovely views as well as some nice walks...

Nothing to dislike

Fab site, owners and staff really friendly and helpful. Beautiful views and well laid out, only 9 pitches so small and personal. The facilities are great with a huge games room and the toilets are clean and lovely. The owners have a fondness for animals and they have an eclectic collection of pets (goats, sheep, horse, donkey, and alpacas) which are all brought to visit people staying on site. There are also some fantastic wood carvings, which are unique and works of art. Ken and Michelle have a great site and we will be going again.

Great location loved the private pitch with gate so dog could run a round without losing him and I thought the games room was a nice touch

Couldn’t fault anything

The whole experience Michelle was wonderful, the shower/toilet block was fabulous, very clean, we were even given shower mats for the floor, was so happy with the experience I have already booked to go again

Nothing to dislike

We loved it there. We were spoilt with fabulous weather mind. Its a site of 10 pitches with masses of room per pitch and wooden segregation fences between. The toilet block is very well maintained such that I didn't want to touch anything in case I spoilt it! The shower has a head the size of a dinner plate! You can tell the owners have spent a lot of love and care over the place. The owners are a lovely couple. There are wooden carved sculptures all over the place. There is a games room and kitchen if you dont want to cook and lounge in your van.
The owners keep alpacas, goats and Ray the donkey which are friendly and each morning they take them out for the children to pet. It's not far off the A68 with access to everywhere. We will definitely be coming back. L&K and dog Ben.

Huge pitches, we booked one of the fenced pitches where our dog could be free to roam. No complaints at all about the pitch. The owners were friendly and helpful, especially Paul who helped us site the van in the best direction for the views.
Lots of friendly animals for children to see if you bring them.
This is a small site with only a few pitches so peace and quiet are guaranteed. There is no wifi but phone signals are strong so you can connect through that. The toilet/showers are clean and there is a games room for anyone who needs entertainment, with pool table, table tennis etc.
Overall we enjoued our stay and I could have stayed longer, we will certainly be back next year.

Greeted by Paul who was so helpful.
Toilet and shower block immaculate and the floor towel provided was a great touch.
The alpacas goats sheep donkey horses were well cared for and a joy to see. We only stayed one night on our way from Wales to Northumberland a great little peaceful site.
