Just a little note about the shop: there is actually one in Valdeavellano de Tera, about 1 km from the campsite. We’re sorry we didn’t let you know about it!
It is open all year round, even through the tough winter months, when keeping a small local shop open is often more difficult than profitable. That’s precisely why we prefer not to compete with it by selling the same essentials here. It provides a really important service to the village and the surrounding area, especially during the quieter months, and we’re very happy to support it.

Polubione We stayed here for four nights as a family and overall had a really enjoyable stay.

The pitches are a very good size, well maintained and there was plenty of space around us. The facilities were also excellent. The shower and toilet blocks were very clean, with plenty of showers and toilets available, and the washing-up area was equally well kept.

The campsite is around 1.5 km from the nearby village. It’s a very small village, with just one little shop that we could find. Although tiny, it was reasonably well stocked for the essentials and sold fresh bread, but you would definitely need to go further afield for a proper supermarket shop.

The bar and restaurant on site are very nice. The whole area is well maintained, comfortable and the bar is well stocked. We ate in the restaurant once and the food was good. The service was a little chaotic when we visited, although they were clearly very busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff around. Overall though, it was still a good experience.

The swimming pool was absolutely freezing for my liking, but it was spotlessly clean and very well maintained.

Overall, this is a very good, well-run campsite. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return again in the future. Highly recommended.

Polubione Generally nice site. You pick your own pitch which is quite nice. Have a strange adaptor for the electric(never seen before). Pool is nice. No recycling except bottles on site which is a little disappointing. Didn’t eat at restaurant as was fully booked. Site could do with a bit more general maintenance I think as quite dated.

We completely agree that recycling facilities should be better. In fact, we’ve been pushing the local authorities for more than three years to provide proper recycling containers here, but unfortunately this is not something that depends on us. We’ll keep fighting for it!

We’re sorry you couldn’t try our restaurant being fully booked is a nice problem to have, although we know it’s disappointing when you’re hoping to eat here.

Niepolubione They just need to tidy up more on a site that’s a bit faded and appears to operate at much less capacity than it was built for.

You’re right that the campsite was originally designed on a much larger scale than the way we run it today. Keeping it at a lower capacity is actually a conscious decision on our part: we don’t want to overcrowd or overdevelop the site, but to preserve its natural character and let the surroundings breathe.

We’re working on improvements little by little, and we really like the direction we’re taking. But our idea is to keep the campsite as natural as possible. That sometimes means choosing trees, grass and forest over asphalt, concrete and too many artificial elements which may not always look as “aesthetic”, but it feels much more like Entrerrobles.

Polubione Camping muy tranquilo, perfecto para descansar y desconectar. Fuimos para ver el eclipse y no estaba al 100% por decisión de los dueños lo que hizo que la estancia fuera mejor porque pensamos que íba a estar a tope. Además las parcelas son enormes!!! Un 10!!

Niepolubione No tiene supermercado. Lo hacen por una buen causa pero es un rollo tener que ir hasta el pueblo para comprar hielo

Sobre lo del supermercado, tienes toda la razón, y como bien dices, es por una buena causa: no queremos perjudicar a la persona que mantiene abierto un pequeño negocio todo el año en el pueblo, cuando muchas veces casi ni le sale rentable. Aun así, estamos valorando el tema del hielo, este año con el eclipse nos superó un poco, pero lo tendremos en cuenta y probablemente añadamos ese servicio de cara al futuro.

Polubione The camp site was peaceful and relaxing. The bathroom and shower area was clean and well maintained. The staff was always friendly and courteous to me. I do not speak Spanish, but the staff members spoke English and they were patient with me. I ordered the lasagna for dinner at my camp site one night and it was excellent, as was the the fresh baked bread and croissant that I ordered for breakfast one morning. My only suggestion for improving my experience would be to provide a link in the WhatsApp notification that I received at check-in to a map of the campground with the locations of resources like bathrooms and trash receptacles. I kept referring to the WhatsApp notification for useful information, so it just seems like an ideal choice from which you can have access to a map.

We're actually working on an app that will include not just campground info, but details about the whole area, local services, schedules, and suggested routes to explore. This year, with everything around the eclipse, we simply didn't have time to finish it in time for your visit. Niepolubione Het toiletpapier was ‘s avonds vaak afwezig. De wifi ontvangst was slecht.
