Okoroire Hot Springs Hotel Camp

Polubione Hotel, bar and food lovely, the hour in the hot springs was very relaxing!

Niepolubione Camping facilities need a lot of work to make them decent and useable, also very basic changing/shower at the springs.

Polubione Setting. Convenient for Hobbiton. Friendly staff at hotel. Did not visit hot springs so cannot comment.

Niepolubione Booked hardstanding. Couldn’t see any designated pitches in fact it was difficult to find electric hook up points stuck on side of sheds which turned out to be facilities. So on grass. This site is really no more than an area of grass accessed by locked gate ($30 deposit for key). Tall trees so lots of shade. The facilities were terrible. I’d have rated 0/10 if option available! Absolutely nil investment from owners who must think people with own fully self contained vans won’t mind. Cannot describe how bad. I would not use the one shower!! Other vans on site (2-3) had appearance of long-stayers, maybe even lived in full time.

Polubione The hot springs were lovely.

Niepolubione We definitely would not stay here again. Terrible shower and toilet facilities.

Polubione The check in was easy and friendly. We had a lovely meal on Saturday night,( the restaurant was full which speaks for itself).
The pools were quite and restful with glow worms visible at night on the pool bank.
We had a lovely stay.

Polubione Very casual and easy walking distance to hotel for meals, drinks. Also hot springs and country golf course across road.

Niepolubione Camp amenities nothing flash but ok. Be warned only 6 powered sites

Niepolubione Only issue we had was a unsavoury couple shouting at there kid when we arrived. This had nothing to do with the campsite or location

Polubione Easy going camp very basic facilities but sufficient. The hot pools are a bonus

Polubione Caravan Plug sites were covered by trees making beautiful shadows in our camper

Nature and waking to the sounds of multiple different types of birds

Sounds of the river rushing past the hotel

Historical grounds and small amount of information given by the receptionist was very cool.

Though the shower looked terrifying, it was actually a decent shower

The food at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious 😋

Niepolubione Facilities quite run down however price does reflect this but cleaning products being used more regularly would be a vast improvement to an already pretty great location.

Website should state pool fare is separate to the fee for camping to save disgruntled customers (we were fine with it)

Polubione The hot pools were amazing at night time and the staff at reception were very friendly!

Niepolubione The toilet facilities were not very good, one was blocked so couldn’t be used in the ladies so had to wait to use toilet.
