Polubione Location is brilliant. Bar and food good .
Showers & toilets were clean when used over the 2 nights we were there.

Niepolubione We felt a plan of sight handed to us would have been beneficial. As wasn’t sure where facilities were ie water/refuse once we had found our placement

Polubione A good shaded spot, and quiet. We’ve stayed before and very much enjoy the location, near to the river beach and a short walk from the beautiful village of Aubeterre sur Dronne.

Niepolubione Some initial confusion with our booking (which had been made through Pitch Up) and little negotiation about which emplacement we could use, despite the site being relatively empty.
Also despite WiFi being advertised as free, we were limited to one user.

Polubione It was close to the river and Aubetarre is worth visiting

Niepolubione The pitch we were given was the walk way to the toilets and so we only had minimal space to pitch the tents. And other campers were constantly walking past. The shower heads did not fit the holders and so making showers annoying and the laundry facilities were out of order.

Polubione Lovely campsite, friendly staff, level pitches, good, clean facilities, good river beach and river swimming, beach bar (looked popular but we didn't use it). Lovely walk into very pretty town. Spacious pitch. Good wifi, free for first day.

Niepolubione This wouldn't be a dislike for many but our pitch was very shady so a bit gloomy!

Polubione Everything! Location, staff and facilities all excellent. Great venue for family and friends meet ups, dogs enjoyed it too. Decent power on pitch (10A), didn't use site WiFi. Level shady pitch, choose your own.

Niepolubione No seats on toilets ( the French way , I know...) No water on pitch but tap very close by.

Polubione Nous avons aimé l’emplacement. Les sanitaires étaient propres. Le personnel étaient au top. L’infrastructure impeccable. Nous y retournerons.

Polubione Easy check in, receptionist very friendly and spoke basic English. Basically told to pick any pitch we wanted, which was easy enough. Facilities all good, warm water, clean. The beach was brilliant, clean river, kids loved it. Little platform for them to climb onto and jump off. The wier was great fun with lots of locals jumping off it and the diving board was a nice touch too.
We walked into the local town during the day and visited the underground church, I am not big on my history but it was amazing and well worth the visit (2 adults, 8 yr old & 3 yr old - €19). Went in the evening for dinner and the Prego Pizzeria was lovely. Be warned, it's a steep walk up!
We had only booked 1 night as we were planning moving around but we stayed an extra night.
We were given a free drink token to use at the bar but we never got around to trying the bar.

Niepolubione Only bins were out the front, not the end of the world but a bit annoying.
