Camping Marisol

The beaucoup beautiful beach of Torreilles is one of the loveliest in the Languedoc-Rousillion and runs for two and a half miles of unspoilt sand backed by dunes, just the ticket for sunbathing, sandcastle making, nature spotting or cooling off with a swim or scuba dive. To the south, Argèles (Argèles-sur-Mer) is probably the best-known beach in Languedoc and the longest in the Pyrenées Orientales: make with a picnic for the northern end for Pyrenées views in front and a sweep of pine forest and grass behind. Take a stroll too around Juhègues's chapel, Louis Blasi Square and other heritage highlights in Torreilles town (and also see the iguana palace), or get more active in the area at local paintballing, waterskiing, canoeing, horse riding, sea fishing and miniature golf; it might not be quelle surprise to hear there are a few vineyards in the region too.
