Camping La Presqu'île

The family seaside resort of Port Barcarès is within walking distance of Camping La Presqu'ile and has varied events in all seasons, like the summer fishing festival as well as music concerts, folk music gigs and quite a whole heap more. Elsewhere, use the park as a base to discover Catalan country: to the north, Leucate Lake, the fortress of Salse, the Fitou and Rivesaltes vineyards; and to the south, the Côte Vermeille, the cultural heritage (and anchovies) of Collioure, the vineyard-covered coasts of Banyuls, and the maritime reserve Port Vendres with its old fishing port and the wild coves to the south. Very close to home, the 10-kilometre Greenway cycling trail and the 15-kilometre walking trail to Rivesaltes both pass the campsite gates, and you won't be far from local watersports like waterskiing, windsurfing, canoeing, sea kayaking and kitesurfing. If you want to get to Spain for a day trip, access via the Perthus pass is 50 kilometres away.
