Polubione Generous pitch sizes, a swimming pool and bar/ restaurant on site, and is quite picturesque. I enjoyed watching the red squirrels darting around in the mornings, and the small collection of farmyard animals were pleasant to visit, especially the friendly donkey. Very pretty sunsets to be seen from the highest corner of the site

Niepolubione Was greeted shortly after arrival, (after doing a little looking around for someone as the main reception was closed) and was told to find a pitch and then come back to reception to sort out remaining payment, site rules etc. the usual. Reception was closed however, and we couldn't find anyone again for a few hours after arrival despite looking, when we did we were made to feel a little guilty for booking through pitchup instead of directly (wouldn't have found the site if we hadn't used pitchup!) Otherwise polite and informative.

The site is pretty, but definitely in need of some refurbishment, which the bar/ restaurant appeared to be undergoing, rendering it out of use for our stay which wasn't mentioned prior to booking. The main pool was advertised as being open till the 15th September (we arrived on the 5th) but was drained and looking a little depressing, however a smaller pool was available, although I'm not sure how we were supposed to get to it as it looked like the whole area was closed off.

The site has things to do such as mini-golf, but the courses looked like they hadn't been used in years and was overgrown. This was kind of the vibe for the entire site. walkways were overgrown and tiles/ etc were left about the place (particularly nearer the restaurant area). The whole place just felt a little run-down. I got the vibe that it had been closed completely for the season and we had just pitched up while it was undergoing renovation, despite the fact that nothing really seemed to be happening.

communal bathroom was clean, not TOO dated and functional, but nothing to write home about, as seems to be indicative of the site overall, the main outside door wouldn't shut fully.

There is a local town/ supermarket not too far away, but that's about it. The whole area is a bit of a dead-zone.

I wasn't massively impressed by the facilities or location of the site, but as a stopover for a couple of nights, it was fine. It certainly could be beautiful, but it needs a lot of investment to make it look a little less run-down.

Niepolubione We arrived on the 18th August after 10 hours drive, we checked in and got told to find are own pitch. We found a pitch and started setting up, a French woman came over to say we couldn’t go there as it’s still her pitch. The pitch numbers were not clear. After going to the French owner to resolve this problem we found that being English was a problem and found they did not treat us in a nice manor and were rude.
We had 2 11 year olds and told them to go use the pool while we move the caravan, they came back within minutes to say the pool was green, it was lime green 😳 the owner said nothing was wrong with the pool however I have never seen anything that bad.
If you are English do not book this site in my opinion they do not like us and make it difficult to stay there.

Polubione Washing facilties were excellent. Owners were very helpful and hospitable.
Onsite facilities to keep kids active during the day were varied - obviously the 2 pools but also ping ping, badminton, mini golf. Plus the reception has a stack of board games to kill a few hours as we unfortunately had 3 days of our 9-day stay with torrential rain.
Sunsets and dark skies were fantastic.
If you're into nature and being "Perdu dans la nature" then the location will also appeal. It felt very tucked away from civilisation.

Niepolubione Unfortunately there was no evening entertainment during our stay which our kids were hoping for.

Niepolubione The facilities were so dirty, the build up of bacteria was the worst we’d ever seen in the showers. The toilets were smelly and dirty especially on a morning. The pool was a bright green colour and we decided not to swim.

Od administratora: Nous sommes particulièrement attentifs à votre commentaire et nous vous en remercions. Nous regrettons que vous ne soyez pas venus nous en parler directement. Les sanitaires sont nettoyés au quotidien, absolument chaque matin, puis nous repassons en cours de journée si besoin. Nous accueillons actuellement énormément de campeurs et nous répondons immédiatement lorsqu'un désordre nous est signalé.
Quant à la piscine, les fortes chaleurs et les orages influent sur l'aspect de l'eau, mais aucunement sur sa qualité bactériologique. Les analyses quotidiennes en sont garantes.
Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que vous ne reteniez que ces 2 aspects de votre séjour qui ne représentent pas du tout notre site, et vous invitons à réitérer votre visite pour une découverte positive de notre camping.

Polubione De ruime plek. De camping beschikt over een behoorlijk nieuw toiletgebouw. Het zwembad was fijn.

Niepolubione Er was een toiletgebouw gesloten waardoor het behoorlijk druk was bij het enige andere toiletgebouw. Bij aankomst ging er op zijn Frans aan toe, beetje rommelig, niet zo efficiënt.

Od administratora: Nous ferons toujours notre maximum pour apporter la totale satisfaction à notre clientèle.
Hélas, il y a certains éléments que nous ne contrôlons pas. Et notamment, les odeurs qui peuvent apparaitre, rarement, au niveau des fosses sceptiques, lors des températures élevées et du temps orageux, malgré tout l'entretien que nous y apportons.
Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que ce désagrément, temporaire et rare, fasse que vous gardiez une mauvaise image de notre camping. Nous sommes conscients de ce souci et faisons tout notre maximum pour y remédier dans la mesure du possible. Si vous étiez venus nous en parler, nous vous aurions expliqué les raisons de ce souci.

Polubione We loved the natural, quiet, family friendly vibe of this place. It was so peaceful. The view was amazing from our non-electrical pitch. The owners are very nice and helpful.

Niepolubione The only drawback was that the toilet block closest to us was being serviced and was out of use, so we had to use the main reception which was a bit of a longer walk away. However, when the building is finished it will be so lovely. It was also a shame that there was no evening entertainment, which we were expecting. However, I must say that it was still a really enjoyable stay.

Le dernier sanitaire est en cours de rénovation, et par manque de personnel, les travaux ne peuvent pas avancer aussi vite que nous le souhaiterions. Nous sommes désolés pour cet inconvénient, que nous vous spécifions bien lors de votre arrivée. Nous faisons tout notre maximum afin que ce 3ème sanitaire soit en fonction le plus rapidement possible.

Niepolubione Do not let the good reviews fool you! On arrival you have to park your car at reception and walk around the site and pick a pitch ( not ideal after a long drive and paying for electric pitch) would of thought it would be picked for you like most campsites. Very limited food menu and no kids menu at all. Only one waitress serving maybe 8/9 different groups. The pool looks nice before you get in it, but can tell it was cheaply built and not maintained ( they still had the pool hoover/cleaner robot in as we swam) and you can feel lumps and bumps under the liner. This is where our problem started. My son sliced his foot on a sharp object that had pierced through the pool lining and there was a lot of blood! I asked the owner for help and a first aid kit and he handed me a small plaster and said he had nothing else not even tissue to stop the bleeding! A friendly couple that where staying at the site helped us clean my sons foot up and the pool decking whilst the manager watched on. He then sent the man that helped us into the pool with a hammer to hit the sharp object back down, rather than actually fixing it. After we was cleaned up I took my son into the bar and asked the manager if he could have a packet of Haribo sweets on the house to cheer him up, he laughed in my face and served other guests. I then ordered two drinks which came to €6.5, I had 5 euros in change and asked if that was ok as I thought I was owed some compensation for my son as he was visibly in pain and upset, the manager threw the change at me and told me to get out. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL ESPECIALLY FOR ENGLISH GUESTS. No toilets near the pitch we chose as all the ones close to the toilet where taken. We have 8 different campsites around Europe and this has been the worse by far.

Od administratora: Chez nous, le client choisit son emplacement et à la vue de votre attitude, vous auriez certainement critiqué l'emplacement que nous vous aurions choisi. Vous ne pouvez pas circuler en voiture pour visiter le camping afin de respecter la clientèle. Cela aussi, vous l'auriez certainement critiqué une fois installé si d'autres véhicules circulaient autour de vous. Votre enfant s'est légèrement coupé le pied à la piscine et vous avez essayé de monnayer la chose auprès de moi. je trouve ce comportement insultant et choquant. Alors surtout, restez dans vos convictions et ne revenez jamais chez moi, vous êtes définitivement pour moi une mauvaise personne. Concernant les avis qui nous félicitent de notre accueil et des prestations offertes dans un cadre merveilleux et calme, ils doivent tous avoir tort et vous seul avez surement raison. Heureusement qu'il y a des grincheux comme vous, cela prouve la véracité des autres commentaires positifs.
