Polubione: The river. Peaceful campsite. The birds (woodpecker,blue tits). Loved the Sunday night pizza! Ten minutes walk to Lion Hotel. (Lovely three course meal there and reasonably priced). Ten minutes drive to Meifod where there's a free car park and lots of walks from there.

Polubione: Peaceful campsite, helpful & friendly owners, good facilities, dog friendly, put pizzas on during a busy night that were excellent. The pitches were very spacious and private. Nothing to fault, perfect for what we wanted. I don't know if there was WiFi and it won't let me not give an answer.

Polubione: We would highly recommend this site. The hosts were very friendly and the cost of the pitch was extremely affordable. We were welcomed by Jane who gave us some very good recommendations of where to visit. The pitches are very well spaced which is one of the main reasons we chose this site, it created privacy and a lovely atmosphere. We stayed in Mavis, it was in a great location. The facilities were very clean and we enjoyed a lovely walk around the grounds. We enjoyed the fire pit and the general atmosphere of the place and we felt very safe. We would definitely return. I'd recommend this site to everyone

Niepolubione: Hill down to the pitch with no car access so have to carry things down but wouldn't stop us staying again!

The nature of our site is to give the most peaceful experience we can, hence no vehicle access to any pitches. Algie is at the bottom of the hill nestling by the river... for those that don't want to navigate a hill we recommend Daffyd, on our main site, or a wild camping pitch on our adjacent field.

Polubione: Lovely location and setting. Hosts very friendly, greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour. The facilities are clean and well kept, the little kitchenette is very handy. The little extras they sell are a lovely extra touch.

Niepolubione: Two of the tent pitches are at the bottom of a steep hill. This wasn't a problem, but could be an issue if you struggle with mobility.

We do emphasise on all platforms that pitches Don Don and Algie are at the bottom of the hill, but if anyone ever needed help we would of course help! or offer them an alternative pitch. Being such a small site we have to work with the limitations it provides. We feel lucky to be able to offer the beauty of being down by the river as an alternative pitch to stay :)

Polubione: Beautiful setting for tents, very peaceful, in the middle of nature. The site has all the facilities you need, more than other sites. The owners, Jane&Ian are very nice. We much enjoyed our stay.

Polubione: Loved the wild camping area, we were lucky enough to be the only people there so had ultimate peace and quiet. The sound of the stream babbling through the night was to die for. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable of the local area, we will definitely be back!

Polubione: The pitches were absolutely wild camping, just pop your tent up and enjoy the outdoors! Luckily they let us use the fridge in the main camp with no bother - we weren’t as prepared as we thought! The campsite was lovely and quiet, with the added bonus of a tree being planted for us because of our ‘greener camping’ pass, we will definitely come back!

Polubione: Everything! Beatiful surroundings, peaceful and packed with wild life. Me and my partner stayed here for 2 days to reconnect with the nature and it worked out perfect. The hosts Jane and Ian are very lovely people who accommodated all our needs. They hosted pizza Fridays and they were delicious! Baked in front of us. Rita pod where we stayed was cozy, comfortable and equipped in everything we needed. It had a kitchen, its own toilet and shower too. We literally didn't have to leave for anything. We were allowed to have outside fire and inside burner for chilly nights. The pod is situated by the farm animal field and we were visited by cows and sheep on multiple occasions, which we absolutely adored 😊 there's so much to explore in the area which we will on our next trip. Would recommend this place no doubt!
