Polubione Facilities were very good, and the warden had plenty of knowledge of the surrounding area. No WiFi because of the area.

Niepolubione Found the woman running the place quite rude to be honest . I had only just arrived and wanted to enquire about the pitch size and was told quite curtly that I could leave and have my money back . My friend had just arrived and we wanted pitches next to each other, it was pouring with rain , but they still put us with a pitch in between us , despite no one else turning up at all. She kept saying well you haven’t got an awning . To be honest , i was expecting her to say don’t worry , no one else is coming , it’s one night and it’s not a problem , or do you mind paying a couple more £ to cover the pitch . We both found her behaviour and attitude rude.
The next morning I went to wash up at 9.15 am and the same lady was opening cupboards and milling around me the whole time , to the point that I felt I was in the way. I then wanted to go and have a shower , but she started mopping the floor and cleaning the toilets at 9.30 am and I literally felt like she was my shadow . We both felt so uncomfy, we both decided to just pack up and have a shower when we arrived home. I will not be staying here again .

To clarify the facts, you booked and paid for a small pitch. You subsequently asked for a larger, premium pitch, which carries a small additional charge. This was explained to you calmly and politely. You made it clear that you were unwilling to pay the difference, so you were allocated the pitch you had originally paid for. We cannot be expected to provide a higher-priced pitch without the appropriate payment.
We also strongly dispute your account of the interactions the following morning. Routine cleaning and preparation of the facilities are part of running a campsite, and staff carrying out these duties should not be misrepresented as deliberately following or making guests feel uncomfortable. Most importantly, your suggestion regarding the shower room is categorically disputed. I was not in the shower room at the time you claim, and any suggestion otherwise is simply not an accurate account of events.

We always aim to treat our guests with courtesy and fairness. However, this must be a two-way expectation. Explaining our pitch categories and their associated prices is not rude; it is a reasonable and necessary part of running a business fairly for all customers.

We respect that you may choose not to return, but we cannot accept a review that presents a one-sided and misleading account of events as though it were the full story. We are confident in our approach to pricing, our commitment to maintaining the facilities, and our responsibility to treat all guests consistently and fairly.

Polubione Facilities were the best we have seen, absolutely spotless. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely location by the river. Pitches were large and really well looked after. Great play park for our daughter.

Polubione The toilets were absolutely amazing ! And the lady who walks the grounds and does the flowers is amazing too. Kids loved playing in the stream thankyou ! Pub at the top done amazing food too

Niepolubione That there wasn’t a feild for the kids to play in play football or ride bikes ( although they were happy for the kids to ride along the campsite road and they loved going over the speed bumps )

Just to clarify regarding the space for children, we do have a dedicated play area, the river/stream where children can paddle and explore, as well as a large meadow for enjoying the outdoors. We do, however, prohibit ball games in the park, as this is one of our park rules. These rules are provided to guests prior to their visit, are available on our website, and we also explain them on arrival. This is to ensure everyone staying with us can enjoy a peaceful and safe environment.

We’re pleased the children enjoyed riding along the campsite road and tackling the speed bumps! 😄 And it sounds like you also made the most of the pub at the main entrance.

Polubione Fantastic site beautifully kept and in a great location. Welshpool and Machynlleth close by also on back end of the mac loop so some low flying jets about.I will deffo be returning to this site.

We’re sorry that you experienced a little road noise during your stay. We just wanted to mention that this was a one-off and not typical of the site. On this occasion, we needed to get some materials out of our compound in order to complete some essential work, which unfortunately created a little additional noise. We did come and speak to you before this occured as curtiosy .

Polubione Well kept site. Lovely clean toilets and showers. Handy having the hotel for a drink not far. Lots of birds to watch in the trees.

However, We do not advertise Wi-Fi as a facility at the park, our aim is to provide a peaceful setting where guests can enjoy the surroundings and the many beautiful door to door walks that surround this beautiful countryside.
We appreciate that connectivity is important to some guests, but we would always encourage visitors to research the facilities and location of any park before booking, to ensure it meets their individual requirements.
