Polubione The area was beautiful and so peaceful, the views were amazing. The toilets were a short distance and super clean. The owner greeted us on arrival and was very friendly. Would definitely come back.

Niepolubione Nothing to dislike

Polubione Nice site in the country a couple of miles from Barnstaple. Quiet, only distant road noise (minimal). The place is well looked after by the Owner/Manager Charles. Really good 'facilities' block, clean, good showers, fridge/freezer, washing up station, washing machine etc. Good phone signal. Would definitely choose again if in the area.

Niepolubione Not a dislike but would have been nice to adjust the temperature of the showers - they were set to decently warm/hot - but the weather was baking (30°+) so something cooler would have been good ; )

Polubione Very quiet site shower are great. Even have the use of a free washing machine should you require it not used by me. Toilet block and dishwashing are very clean. Great views. Should I need to stay in Barnstable during season again I would not hesitate to book

Polubione The views from the site can be spectacular, if you have the right weather.
Charles the owner is very friendly and helpful.
The pitches are large and fairly flat. The facilities block was never busy.

Niepolubione Our own fault due to lack of forward planning etc, this site is quite some way out of Barnstaple and there is nothing close by to walk to.
We did walk into Barnstaple one day and got a taxi back.

Polubione Lovely peaceful spot. Campsite was quiet. Charles was very helpful. We received a welcome text before arrival with instructions. Toilet/shower block/washing up area was very clean and well looked after.

Polubione Generally quiet and friendly. Good view. O

Niepolubione Showers. No stool or anywhere to put things down other than on the generally wet floor. Yes there were some very high-up hanging hooks but they were useless for any thing other than outer clothes. Floors were often very wet and never seemed to be completely clean. Mop provided was old and ineffective.
Generally facilities are old and very tired-looking.
One night there were shot guns being fired, a quad bike and men shouting in the next field at 12..30am until about 1.00am.

Od administratora: Thank you for your feedback. We have taken on board your comments about the showers and will have a look to see what extra equipment might be helpful in addition to the hooks in the shower cubicles.
We do apologise unreservedly for the noise which disturbed your sleep. This was caused by a neighbouring farmer shooting rabbits without using a silencer. Unfortunately Charles didn't see you before you left to apologise, however we would be happy to offer you a refund for that night as compensation if you would like to get in touch with us.

Polubione Very quiet site with stunning views. Not sure if walks from site as we only stayed at aite to sleep one night but worth coming back to to explore.

Polubione Views, small sized site, table tennis, great for relaxing.

Beautiful views, peace & quiet, spacious pitches, friendly people & fab facilities. Will definitely return.
