Polubione Everything. The camp site is so clean and tidy, mowed grass, clean toilets and showers. The site is so quiet it lovely, very peaceful and the man that own it is lovely and super helpful.
Can’t wait to go back

Niepolubione The owner going against his rules and allowing a group of 6 young lads onto the site when it states no more than 3 people in a group. The lads were playing loud music and used the site as a football pitch, certainly not a quiet and relaxing experience. We booked this site following all the fantastic reviews of it being peaceful and tranquil. We have a dog with dementia who is scared of the thud of a football and loud noises. We have to choose our campsites carefully because of this. Everything was fine until the lads arrived and even before pitching their tents took to the field for a kick about. At that point I had to take our dog off the field as she was shaking that much while my partner asked the boys if they could stop playing football which they reluctantly did. My partner then went to speak with the owner to explain the situation and everything was fine. The owner said if it happens again to text him and he will come and speak to them. Later the lads decided to start playing with a rugby ball with the same consequences for the dog. We texted the owner but he didn't appear. My partner spoke to the boys again but then another camper said to the boys we come here every weekend you can carry on playing. Things got a bit heated and we felt ganged up on from a group of 6 lads and a camper and her husband who thought they were privileged because they are regulars at the campsite. At that point we packed up and left, even if the owner would have come down and sorted it the camping experience had been tainted. I'm not a complainer and despise confrontation but care for our dog who has complex needs and that's why we chose this campsite following the reviews. I have no malice against the lads playing football but it appears they chose the wrong campsite to do it on, why the owner allowed a group of lads on which is against his rules may have been a one off, I don't know. I did take offence at a couple who stepped in to defend the boys on the premise of them being regular to the site. I take particular offence when explained how stressed my dog can get and her response was don't bring your dog to this campsite. She was extremely rude. Started as very relaxing campsite on the back of which we booked to come again quickly turned into one of the worst camping experiences of my 20 years of camping.

Polubione Lovely owner , very “chilled “site. Loved the outdoor shower. Relaxing few days. You can hear some traffic but did not bother me at all. Road not over busy. I loved cycling on the back lanes . We took an elderly dog with us who was very relaxed with no disturbance

Polubione Quiet site - even during the football. Easy to navigate. Toilet facilities lovely. The owner came to check on how I was doing and what we though of the site.

Niepolubione Not so much a dislike but I pitched up next to the toilet block which had an external light on it all night, luckily I had a buff to cover my eyes.

Polubione Loved everything about this site. It was so easy to get to straight from an A‑road, yet once you arrive it has all the peace and quiet of a much more remote location. The layout is brilliant. There’s a dedicated field for camping and a separate area with hard‑standing, fully serviced pitches, all really spacious and well thought out. You never feel crammed in or overlooked. The facilities were spotlessly clean, clearly well cared for and cleaned regularly.

We absolutely loved the little fruit and veg hut. It’s such a lovely touch and gives the place a really homely feel. We bought some eggs, which I believe are from the owners’ own hens, and they were lovely. The field next to us had sheep in it, and honestly, sitting out in the evening listening to them bleating away was pure bliss. It’s the kind of simple, peaceful moment you don’t realise you’ve been missing until you’re right there in it.

The owners were so friendly and helpful too. Really welcoming without being intrusive, and clearly proud of the site they’ve created. It makes such a difference when you feel genuinely looked after.

We loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back. We went to Dawsons chippy in Kirkham and can definitely recommend it. There’s also a pub just a very short walk away that looked really nice, so we’ll be trying that next time.

Polubione Wow! What a beautiful little find from start to finish it was perfect. Amazing hosts and very clean and tidy facilities. We will definitely be visiting again.
