Polubione Great campsite, lovely host, lovely pub just down the road, great walks direct from the campsite. Coffee shop nearby.

Niepolubione Didn’t matter to us but not much mobile reception (giffgaff/O2).

Polubione The site is small and nestled in the side of the hill as indicated on the pictures.

Niepolubione We booked this site in APRIL. Upon arrival there was no pitch available for us where all the fellow campers were. We were offered to ‘pull in’ at the side of the lane exiting the farm where EHU was available. In the night the owner squeezed another camper in next to ours leaving a couple of foot between us.

Bear in mind this site has unmarked pitches, primitive facilities and is near a busy main road (which I admit I should have googled before booking). The facilities for emptying your waste cassette is a manhole cover with a handle ! You cannot wash your cassettes out.

We paid for 2n and left after one. The quad bike going past the van at 5am was the nail in the coffin..

Polubione Really friendly site with everything you need. Has a couple of toilets and showers, which is enough for the number of people staying, you might have a small wait but nothing major. Showers are hot and you get plenty of time for £1. Plenty of walks straight from the campsite, and you can walk to the pub either along the road, or along a footpath/bridleway behind the site. Will certainly stay again! There is also a bus stop close to the site, so easy enough to get into Keswick etc.

Polubione The views were stunning, two toilets, one shower all kept very clean with a homely touch. Pub and cafe within walking distance. Pub has a great menu but would recommend reserving as was a popular choice. They did squeeze us in. Bus stop right on the doorstep of the location. Plenty of choice to park and set up across three levels and pitches were level with electric hook ups and water nearby. Plenty of farm yard animals and dogs. It is a working farm. Loved listening to the menagerie of animals. Owner was very friendly and onsite if needed. Would definitely stay again.

Niepolubione Very close to the road, however, mostly quiet by bedtime and with a good pair of ear plugs, the road will barely disturb you. While having no WiFi on site didn’t bother me, there were WiFi options at the cafe and the pub nearby.

Polubione Très bon accueil en arrivant avec des conseils pour les visites lors du séjour. Endroit calme avec une belle vue sur les montagnes. Possibilité d’achat d’œufs et confitures faites maison.

Convenient location 2 minutes walk to bus to several towns and villages. 15 minutes to walk to pub roadside or a bit longer via footpath. Cafe 2 minutes walk away.

Niepolubione Shower is so hot it was hard to stand under needs temperature control adding and tbh could really do with an update. 2 toilets is probably not enough for the number of pitches. Pot cold water only.

Polubione Le cadre est très joli, une ferme entourée de montagnes, le chalet est rudimentaire mais mignon (bougie, poele à bois, guirlande), on s'y sent bien.

Niepolubione Le lit, c'est un vieux clic clac qui a du beaucoup servi, pour dormir à deux ce n'est pas confortable, il y a un creux au milieu du matelas donc les 2 personnes tombent l'une vers l'autre. Ca serait bien de penser à le changer au vu du prix de la nuit.
