Outdoor accommodation specialist Pitchup.com wins coveted MOMA for mobile platforms

Outdoor accommodation specialist Pitchup.com last night won the Travel/Leisure/Sports Mobile Strategy/Campaign award at the Marketing on Mobile Awards (MOMAs) organised by The Drum magazine, for its mobile site and app. Pitchup.com beat other nominees including BAA London Heathrow, Hotels.com and North Face to seize the top spot. Pitchup.com also received a Commendation in the Mobile Optimised/Responsive Website category.
Pitchup.com is a free online guide to all types of outdoor accommodation in the UK, France, Italy, Spain and beyond, providing users with a simple platform to find and book an outdoor holiday: the search and booking process can be completed in just four pages. The site goes well beyond traditional searches by allowing users to seek accommodation based on more than 80 criteria, including availability of Wi-Fi, proximity to major events and facilities for children and family pets.
