Here's a topping idea if one was setting up a naturist campsite: load it up with loads of facilities and activities, so that those who want to spend their entire holiday in their birthday suit can do so and have heaps of topping options to pick from every day.
Such is the setup at Camping Castillon de Provence at Lac de Castillon, in the middle of the Alpes de Haute Provence and amid the stunning scenery of the Verdon. One could while away weeks here, at the pool, bar or library; settling down on a sun lounger with a thick book; basking on the private beach; wandering around the site's 47 green hectares, or rubbing shoulders with fellow guests during pleasant afternoons wine tasting or competing at pétanque (do both at the same time for maximum mirth).
And there's loads more: activities arranged by the team in high season; table tennis and outdoor fitness areas, and a kids' club for ages up to 10 as well as a playground and trampoline pour all les enfants.
Food of all sorts is – of course – sorted right on site, at the roomy restaurant with regular menu, barbecue and theme nights, the snack bar serving pizza, seasoned chicken, salad and fries to take away, and the shop selling freshly baked bread in the morning and a good assortment of groceries to cook up tasty treats.
And if you just want to surf with a cocktail or a beer? Free wifi is available at the Camping Castillon de Provence bar and the library.

Although you won't have to venture off site if you don't want to, donning threads and getting out into the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence landscape surrounding Camping Castillon de Provence is hugely recommended, as day trips of all flavours are all around in the Gorges du Verdon and teeny Provencal towns.
Have a roam around local town Castellane, set high up with spectacular valley views and the chapel of Notre-Dame du Roc overlooking the town from even higher up, and then buy lunch at its old market to have back by the lake or as a pitstop when tackling the GR 4 hiking trail that passes through the town.
Other active options (all sort of a must) are rafting or kayaking on the waters of the Gorges du Verdon, paragliding above it and hiking round it and – most definitely worth getting off site for – swimming with horses in the beaut blue Lac de Castillon.
