Likte Really friendly and laid back campsite. I loved that we could choose our own pitch and chose a spot near the hedges for some shade. Showers were good and there was a pizza van there in the evenings.

Likte ikke If you camp in the second field, it’s a bit of a trek to get to the washing up station in the first.

Likte Lovely site, lots of space split across two fields. Would reccomend the second field over the first one you drive into. However, showers and washing up area in the first.

Likte ikke We went over the bank holiday weekend, so toilets and showers were very busy. However, when we woke Tuesday post BH, it was very quiet, so can see why they haven't more.

Likte A chilled spacious perfectly located flat field. The manager was helpful and welcoming

Likte ikke The toilets were unusable by the morning of our stay (bank holiday weekend) so we left early (8am) just so we could go to the toilet. Just 2 ladies and 2 men’s portaloos in a field with hundreds of people.

Fra bestyreren: The only reason the toliets get messy at night is because adults can’t seem to use them and make a mess. We had 8 toliets on site. We do or best in busy times.

Likte ikke It was advertised on here that we could have a BBQ. When we arrived, we was told no BBQ’s or fires. I understand about the fires, but had I known this, I would’ve booked elsewhere because we had travelled a long way to get here and had everything ready for a BBQ.
The toilets were also disgusting on the second day, full to the brim and I could smell them for at least 80 metres away. Not to mention the pizza van being parked right next to the toilets that stunk, definitely didn’t make me want to eat from there.
The site was absolutely heaving and what was supposed to be a peaceful couple of night away in nature, was actually overcrowded, loud and a bit disappointing after reading the 9.5⭐️ reviews.

Likte Bank holiday Aug weekend , loved all of it .
Friendly welcome , just warm welcome , handed a sheet with all the info we needed , and told to choose a space and enjoy
Facilities are simple and clean , we had camper van so didn’t need facilities .
Dogs we had 3 , nice nature walk loop on the property :
Beach : Avon and Highcliffe 8 mins ( both dog friendly )
Pub : Cat & Fiddle 4 mins
New Forest : for more Dog walks 8-10 mins
Carboot : strawberry fields 14 mins
Lymington market : 15 mins
Loads more to explore we just ran out of days ..
We arrived Saturday got a good spot ,
It slowly filled up to busy .. but such a lovely atmosphere campers were all respectful and fitting in snug ..
Camp was Full .. but cosy .. loads of families but eneryone was respectfully quiet at the right times .
Pizza van at nights , Ice cream van during the day .
You can have bbqs and Fire pits for hire ( when the fire ban wasn’t on .
They have Self errected ready tents as well and they looked huge
We had 3 Dogs and there were lots of families with dogs but it was more relaxed atmosphere , we’ve been to camps where we feel like wardens are so strict

Likte ikke During our stay from 23rd to 25th August 2025, open fires (even on fire pit) were prohibited on site due to the increased risk of wildfires caused by the recent dry weather.
One of our main reasons for camping was to enjoy a campfire and BBQ, so it was disappointing that we couldn’t use any fire.
The toilets were portable units, with only two available for each gender. They quickly became full and were not comfortable to use.
There was only one kitchen sink and four showers, which were clearly insufficient for the number of campers—around 100 parties. These facilities were constantly crowded.

Likte ikke As stated on the description it says BBQs are allowed raised off the ground. We bought with us a BBQ and the food to cook on it. When we arrived at the campsite we were told there was a fire ban and no fires were permitted which also included BBQs. This meant that we were unable to eat any of the food we had bought with us. We were not informed before hand that this was the case. I understand that some weather conditions may prevent fires from being used but there should be some notice given to campers when booking or at least some time before they arrive.
Despite the BBQ ban it was really frustrating to see other campers using a BBQ when we had been told we were not allowed to use it. A lot of money and time wasted on getting the BBQ and food. This really disrupted our trip and caused stress which could have been avoided if we were given even some notice that this was the case?

In addition to this there were only a small amount of toilets for the large campsite and these portaloos were really quite smelly we only used them comfortably for the first night and after this they were blocked, overflowing and smelt bad.

Two of our toliets broke which were fixed soon as possible

Likte The campsite was very peaceful with a lovely walk to a brewery. Check in process was easy.

Likte ikke The facilities were very poor- the toilets consisted of 8 porta - loos which was definitely not enough for a busy bank holiday weekend. Sometimes they were so full up they couldn’t be used and were very smelly and unhygienic.
