Likte Great location, close to beaches for walks swims & beautiful scenery, really enjoyed watching kite surfing on Shingle street, beach, Thorpeness very quaint and peaceful, very close to amenities. Charlie has real gem of a site and was always ready to offer his time and any help if needed, the campsite was spick and span, and check out time at 4pm was big bonus. Looking forward to next visit.

We're so glad you enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the birdsong, and having plenty of space to relax and play. Keeping our meadow paths maintained, keeping our rustic eco-facilities clean, and making sure everyone feels welcome are huge priorities for us. It’s also great to hear you made the most of the fantastic footpaths directly from the campsite—they make exploring the Suffolk countryside and walking to our local country pubs near Woodbridge so easy!

Likte Nice open fields. Hot water. Nice pitch up areas. Friendly and helpful host. Toilets had lots of toilet roll. Overall a nice weekend

We always try to keep those basic essentials—like hot water and well-stocked toilets—spot on for our guests!

Mother Nature definitely gave us a challenge with the dry weather making the ground tough, so we really appreciate your understanding there. Being an authentic, off-grid Suffolk wild camping site, the ground can bake pretty firm in the summer heat! We always recommend bringing heavy-duty rock pegs just in case.

Our open-air, off-grid eco-showers are designed to give guests that authentic outdoor feel under the sky, but showering in the rain can certainly add an extra layer of wild camping! Washing up sink needs to be a bit 'smarter'.
Water supply/heating needs sorting out.
Lack of shaded plots. I would find it hard to be there in extremely hot weather.

As an off-grid wild camping site, we definitely lean into a rustic, back-to-basics feel, but keeping things clean, functional, and comfortable is always our goal. We appreciate your notes on the washing-up area and water heating—we're constantly looking at simple, eco-friendly ways to smarten up our setup without losing the charm of authentic family camping. Regarding shade, our open meadow pitches do catch plenty of sun, though we do have a few sheltered spots tucked near the hedgerows and trees for warmer days.
