Ik was blij met A great base for the train and ferry. Not a lot in Starcross (pubs didn't look up to much). Short walk to a nice pub overlooking the water (Anchor Inn). Lovely site, really well kept, nice owner. Good facilities.

Ik was niet blij met Slightly sloping pitches, no issue for the van but meant the awning was on a slight slope. Good facilities but only 1 shower each so had to queue on occasion but was fine as not too busy.

Ik was blij met Good basic camping field with basic facilities. Perfect for an overnight for Scarborough Open Air but probably wouldn't do much longer. Quite far out but decent taxi and bus services. Will be back...

Ik was blij met A great site, simple flat field, the best showers we've used on a site - excellent new facilities, lovely owner (Beth), nice pub (Blacksmiths Arms) with good food about a mile away (easy walk - half a mile on farm track and half a mile on pavement).

Ik was niet blij met Not loads to do directly from the site (walking etc) but a nice peaceful spot and well positioned for exploring the area.

Ik was blij met Peaceful, excellent facilities, online booking, good quality information provided, spacious pitches, great views, excellent location. Love the self check-in - just choose a pitch. Nice pub just up the road, self service corner shop and cake sheds down the road for supplies, perfect for climbing Pen-y-ghent, ideal for jumping on the train to Settle, Leeds, Dent or Carlisle. Highly recommend! Will be back...

Ik was niet blij met 1 shower/toilet (though it's really modern and clean) so had to keep going back and forth to check if it was free. Not a big deal at all but 2, or a separate toilet would be even more perfect! Would be good if there was an option not to have electric for those who don't need it, I paid for it but didn't use - pay as you go by the unit?

Ik was blij met Good size level pitches, nice hosts, good facilities, great location, well kept.

Ik was niet blij met Needing 50p for the shower, just feels unnecessary and old fashioned.

Ik was blij met Well organised, well maintained, nice surroundings, clean shower blocks, friendly staff, excellent spot for a nice walk into Settle which is a beautiful place with everything you could possibly need.

Ik was niet blij met This site has everything except mains power in the shower blocks which is a shame but you can live without for a weekend.
